Did you know that Divine Confetti increases your damage against him? Or did you just not use it for extra challenge? Really good when combined with whistle finger at the end.
Combining Confetti, Whistle and Yashariku's is even more OP and can most probably end the fight before the Demon even gets out of the stun of the third whistle. If you have enough to use Mortal Blade at least once, even better.
@Nggaplz I think Confetti only loses effect when you use projecting force with the Lilac or Suzaku umbrella, the normal magnetic umbrella would not dispel confetti. But in the DoH fight we have to use Suzaku. Ongbal didn't use the umbrella here nor in his 2nd DoH vid, cuz he has mad skill lol.

I may have died to Isshin Sword Saint more than Demon of Hatred (maybe?), but either way this boss pissed me off way more. It's a very frustrating boss.
@@itzmrinyy7484 Yep he is classified as an apparition type enemy. He also takes increased damage from divine confetti. =P Probably because apparition is less about being a ghost/undead and more about being a legendary/mythical creature whose tales are told in the local folklore.

In Sekiro, you cannot damage apparition enemies without Confetti (though I find it a bit confusing as to how you can still fight O'Rin and Illusion Monk even if you don't have Confetti?) Demon may be an apparition, but in terms of gameplay, he doesn't classify as such as you can deal pretty much similar damage with your normal sword.

The only way supposedly is by saving a memory when you hit 97, upgrade to 98 with dragon mask, and then use the memory to hit 99. Is this correct or can you hit 99 by turning in memories regularly?
i don't remember exactly. i used dragon mask 2~3 times around atk 96~98. and when i tried to use memory at 99, the message pop up 'you can not upgrade atk no more'. sorry for my inaccuracy.
You keep getting memories no matter what. That's how I got mine, but this is confirmed by OP still getting the memory at the end of this video while already having 99AP. You can no longer consume them (turn them into the black/white remnants) once you hit 99AP.
@@itzmrinyy7484 Not really. Bell Demon just makes the enemies stronger and deal more damage to you while taking less damage to themselves. It doesn't add any new attacks. And well, Kuro's Charm forces you to perfect parry because you take a ton of chip damage with normal blocking. It seems you have yet to learn much about how Bell Demon and Kuro's Charm works.

around at NG+7 you can reach max atk power if you've been using memory steadily.

Isshin sword saint is easier compared to this boss.
Whats the point of bell demon and charm if you doing no damage run?
You HAVE to perfect parry and posture builds faster and enemies take more hits to take down
