If you listen carefully, you notice they took out the "Zipde Do Daa" at the end and replaced it with "Think of the happiest thing" My marching band just performed there, and we were told to not play the Disneyland Medley just because it had Zipide do daa in it, so we eneded up changing the piece we were about to play.
Yeah they did the same thing to festival of fantasy when it came back along with taking out “if I’ve seen an elephant fly”and it’s very obvious. However, if you listen closely during fantasy in the sky on new years you can hear the tune to zippity do do dah
Fun fact: "Zip-a-dee-do-da" is believed to be derived from a minstrel song called "Zip C**n" and as more people are becoming aware of this, the removal of this and other problematic things within the domestic parks are becoming more common.
Can't wait to finally see this parade later this year! Haha- I just need to try and avoid the tail end of the route like this though, cuz you could tell the poor performers were getting tired. Their moves weren't nearly as snappy as they would have been more towards the start of middle of the route.
since this is pretty much the same angle as the 1st video, but the opposite direction of course, did you stay in the general area after the 1st parade?
