Ganga Karthi is too crowded always at Haridwar... if u want to get full satisfaction and u can urself participate and do urself Ganga Aarti at Rishikesh. .. crowd is comparatively less
In the year 2011 we had arranged Chardam yathra from Nanganallur. Upto Delhi we had travelled by Garib Rath. From Delhi we went by train upto Harithduwar. From their we had arranged Bus services for all places like Yamunothri, Gangothri, Kethar, Badhrinath Etc., Etc.,

Hello you seem to have taken the cheapest bus option taking the Lohia service of UPSRTC which is very slow. Instead of that you could have taken any of the Any Volvo services of Uttarakhand state transport which runs every few hours to Haridwar and that too non stop !! Or the Jan rath Ac service of UPSRTC running every 30
Minutes fare is only Rs.481/-
Other than the above there are plenty of deluxe buses nowadays with expressway being there - Delhi Haridwar by road is now less than 4 hours by car which once used to be 6 plus hours 😊
