    Dear sir,
It is great that you post these wonderful tutorials online, very insightful, thank you very much!
Having said that, would you have the chance to post some updated tutorials using a more popular CAD package like AutoCAD 2020 or BrickCAD for instance. This because, I found Turbocad quite outdated and thinking out loud that most of your followers would concur and prefer to use a package with some raster to vector, cloud and mobile capabilities, don’t you think?
    Best regards,

As a senior engineering I couldn’t disagree more. Autodesk has become expensive and it is completely impractical for what allot of projects require. This video series on Turbocad is sweet!

Thank you Tim. I have just watched this and your introduction to QCAD and wondered if you have a preference between the two CAD software packages for RC aircraft. I much liked this trace example as I can see a use for redesigning scale design variations like an alternative nacelle when converting from say I.C to electric motors.
    Thanks.

Robert: I like TurboCAD a lot, but each time my iMac has an OS update, the update is not compatible with TurboCAD. Thus my use of QCAD, which I really, really like a lot for 2D CAD drawing. Tim

@@TimMcKay56 I have been using TurboCAD for about 20 years now and am kind of stuck on it. But Iike the way it works and likely will continue to use it. I am trying to download picture images to night to try to trace to make DXF files for use in plasma cutting. I have been having next to no luck. I have tried to pull them up as several different types of files after saving them as all different types of files and nothing shows up. And when I try again it won't even go into the area to pick the file. It is like it is locked up. I would appreciate any help.

Hi Tim I have Turbo cad 2016 Profesional. I cant seem to replicate this process...what version are you using please?

Geoff: I use TurboCAD Deluxe Ver 12 for the Mac. Maybe give this a second try. I used TurboCAD since 2003, Ver 8 for the Mac and Windows. Usually the fix lies in playing with the layers section. Tim

Your screen shows via cad 2d/3D I’m confused ? Is this a Via cad or Turbocad tutorial ? Just wondering ?

John: I use TurboCAD for this video. Not sure what Via CAD is. However, as I've had problems with upgrading TurboCAD with changes in my Mac OS, I have switched over to www.QCAD.org. Love this 2D CAD program, no looking back. Around $40 and I have a few videos on this. Tim
