Hi Me actually they didn’t. You can compare the voice clip of Rantaro here with the voice file from V3. He sounds slightly deeper and doesn’t pause between the words “is” and “Rantaro”. The word “can’t” also sounds noticeably different. It’s not copy and pasted. It’s just an awesome interpretation.
I didn’t compare the clips for Tsumugi, but she does sound a bit higher so I assume it’s the same case.

So my theory to that is that Tsumugi was just a cosplay. If you get what I mean? They jump from mastermind to mastermind. And we know that two people had to kill themself in order to end the killing game. I think that’s what happend to Tsumugi and Rantaro
@@mianuwu3149 I believe kuzuko fukui is the mastermind cuz remember what tsumugi said in chapter 6? She said that kaedes twin sister is the mastermind and kuzuko looks alot like kaede but with short hair so she could be the mastermind
The way I see it, there are 2 equally possible twists.
Twist 1: the mastermind of each killing game is brainwashed to make the next killing game with another sacrifice as the Ultimate Survivor, which means Distrust’s mastermind is not Tsumugi.
Twist 2: where we expected a twist, there was no twist, the killing game actually works exactly like how Shuichi described, and Tsumugi is the mastermind.
There’s about an even chance for either twist, so we have no clue either way whether we should Distrust Tsumugi. And that’s probably the whole point.

This honestly looks really really good. Like yeah it's a fangame obviously but save for some designs, it feels like a legit game that Spike Chunsoft would publish. It'd be hella cool to be playing as Rantaro in this game as he interact with not just Tsumugi but these other 14 students as well (knowing full well what's gonna happen to all of them given V3's revelation).
Also that Mai girl is hella cute and it's sad to know what all their fates are soon :'(

If there is an ultimate survivor, I hope it's not an ultimate ??? character. Maybe they could be like Maki and hide their actual talent.
I’ll be honest, I’m worried how a project like this will handle Tsumugi. She’s my favourite antagonist in the series (not that there’s much stiff competition besides Junko but that’s besides the point) and I worry this will pull some BS twist where she was just mind controlled the whole time and was actually just another victim. But y’know, if you don’t then we know the answer to the mystery way ahead of time (or at least will feel like we do) and that is debatably not good.
I will say that it’s a very good set up though. The main question we’re asking ourselves is “should we trust Tsumugi?” And we know she’s a a villain later on so we shouldn’t. But you know we know that, so maybe we should. But you know that we know that you know we know that, so maybe we shouldn’t. Repeat ad infinitum.
So in the end, I have no idea what to think, I have no idea what I want, so I have no clue whether to be optimistic or pessimistic about this. I guess I’ll just be here.

It's a shame that most of these characters will die in the game, but an ever bigger shame is that there's no character with an irregular character design like Yamada, Hanamura, or Hoshi.

I hate how this fangan almost look similiar to the official games yet, its one of the most underrated fangan of all time :(
Indeed the art is amazing, their uniform looks like school wear instead of casual clothing that reflect their talents, infact those uniform kind of reflect their personality more. Aswell as adding a different animal to replace Monokuma to avoid copyright they opt to change his eye color instead to make it close to home but different in it's own way.

I think that:
1. Rantaro and Tsumugi are going to survive, as they show up in V3
2. There's going to be a trust system like that planned for the original game, hence this one being called Danganronpa: *Distrust*
If I remember correctly, only three can technically survive with one being a sacrifice, meaning the sacrifice will participate in the next killing game with their memories wiped out. So idk, anything can be possible although Rantaro would need to survive without a doubt. For Tsumugi idk, if she's a mastermind, the mastermind pretty much does whatever they want, dead or not, they can still reappear

Pretty sure that Rantaro remembered his talent in the 52nd killing game, he was the Ultimate Adventurer. He even remembered his adventures across the world if you increase his bond in the Love Across the Universe mode of V3. He had a lot of reasons to hide his new talent of the Ultimate Survivor in the 53rd killing game, but with this being his first killing game, he should have no issues stating his talent.
