Making a futuristic motorcycle

- Hello, and welcome to our DIY video.
Today’s project is building a DIY futuristic motorcycle out of a scooter, so you can handle your transportation shenanigans in style. This cabin motorcycle concept we’re building actually looks like a gyrocar - two-wheeled automobiles that sort of balance themselves. You could also liken this motorbike to a monotracer too.
As always, we will list the list of required components in the link below and provide a tutorial on how to make it from the ground up, but beware, this ecomobile takes a lot of engineering.

I love the odd bits of comfort, like the insulation and weather striping. I didn't see anything in the way of ventilation though, I feel that'd be a must to make this a 4 season ride.
what it needs badly is wipers with water nozzles.
also crosswinds are going to terrible
when the stabilizer wheels automatically raised up i sighed with delight.

Tadpole would be safer but this design shouldn’t have manual landing gear, it should drop automatically when speed drops and should run like air brakes so the default is down.

Impressive! How much weight did you add? One idea: make the "landing gears" slide down verticaly so you do not need so much space on the sides and don't hit cars next to you.

Well done! The rivets and air force grey matte finish definitely help the futuristic look! I like these enclosed designs if it can get more people get onto 2-wheels to help with commute congestion. Since rain and bad weather are big reasons why people don't want to motorbike to work or just get around town.

I have a few questions:
- How the folding wheels work?
- Is the cockpit hot? I didn't see any ventilation

@@g0s_vlogs237 You saw the trainer/support wheels there.. you fold it up once you gain balance , too risky and not really reliable, imagine you gotta stop the bike quickly or you gotta ride slow in traffic those things are not as fast as your legs.
Do they go up automatic, or rider has to open and close maulally?

An inspiring and exciting build. Thanks for making the build video quick, rather than drawn out and overly detailed. Surprised you didn't use a lithium battery. Also surprised the rear luggage box was mounted rather high.
He didn't make it quick. He just edited out parts from the original poster. That way the algorithm doesn't flag him as a content thief.
Never thought this small modification(at first sight)needed this much engineering (pricised), labour and dedication 🎉🎉

Excellent idea but at a time of accident supporting wheels would not work and due to disbalance it will be detrimental for both driver & bike.
I think it’s better that make the rear wheel double
The exposure to the elements is one of the biggest reasons I don’t like riding a motorcycle. You’ve solved that. Now make me one!

Не любитель мотоциклов, но даже мне эта штука нравится. Талантливо сделано, и жалко, что у нас в России на таких не ездят. У нас и кишки замотают во вьетнамский узел за такие переделки, и холодно без печки ездить в таком. Лето у нас малоснежное))
Мне тоже зашёл этот пепелац😂
А решение с дополнительными колесами - это вообще отвал башки.
Я б конечно, их усилил и подпружинил. Но идея с ними - супер, потому что они служат ещё и боковой защитой при падении, если пепелац завалиться на бок, то просто проедется на одном из этих колёс.
@@Dark_Legacy_of_Past с дополнительными колесами, на самом деле, ничего нового. А как ещё такому мотоциклу стоять на светофоре? Каждый раз двери открывать, причем ещё и на ходу?
Идея взята у американцев с экобайка но он забыл поставить маховик для балансировки. Это недоделанная конструкция, которая не сможет работать.
@@doktortime как раз из за этого маховика для балансировки экобайки и не взлетели.
Идея придать двухколёсный технике устойчивость четырех колёсной, да ещё и при помощи массивного энергонагруженного маховика - изначально абсурдная.
По очень простой причине. При повороте и мот и велосипед делают наклон в сторону поворота, что позволяет проходить его в кинематической траектории, близкой к идеальной.
Что будет, если двухколёсный технику при повороте маховик будет принудительно удерживать в вертикальном положении? В разы, если не на порядок, ухудшиться сцепление с дорогой, и повороты придется проходить очень аккуратно, на минимальных скоростях. Практически ползком.
И, кроме того, все эти гироскопические системы требуют космических стандартов надёжности, ибо если, например, маховик вдруг заклинит, его крутящий момент никуда не денется, и этим моментом отправит технику в культбит.
А космическая надёжность стоит комических цен.

Should have installed AC in that. That would solve a lot of issue and would actually push people to buy it since the weather is getting so hot which actually makes one think if the 2 wheeler can come with AC.

Pretty cool, but it needs more power to cope with the additional weight if it's going to be on public roads. You can hear it laboring at relatively low speeds in the last frame

What if the side supporting wheels doesn't open ? Any alternative as we cant balance the vehicle by our legs
Yes the side support wheels can be engaged just under the hood ...Don't know the load implications... But can work
It should be manual..
N there should be another emergency stick out..for suport

I have a query, how would the side wheels work while in traffic (less space) . Here i am assuming that the motorcycle would fall while applying brakes to it because of the side wheels, right..

I just have one question.. are the folding wheels reliable ? If the vehicle suddenly stops during an accident or an emergency situation, are the folding wheels fast enough to retract in that very moment of time and balance the vehicle?
also, Isn't it a risk of bars risk during slowing down moments such as low -speed areas? let me explain. You ride quickly, bars raised, therefore, you must go to the right of the roadway like a motorcycle in this case ( EU circulation based ), only, during your journey, you must significantly reduce your speed and therefore deploy your auxiliary wheels, is it What does it not represent a risk for you, to be able to hang any obstacle on your right or any user of the road to your left if you do not return to the center quickly and deploy the bars? Would this maneuver in it even be enough to make the vehicle ultra dangerous?

En una calle con mucho transito tendrá que calcular el espacio disponible para bajar las ruedas porque de lo contrario estas pegarán en el costado de algun auto y simplemente no bajaran con las consecuencias catastróficas que imaginamos .

Love it. Pillion seat will make this even better. I always wondered when will there be a two seated single column cars.
I think the main problem is having an open wheel design that comes with a vehicle like that. you dont want spinning rubber tires and rims touching each other at all, especially on the highway.

almost great. i think you need a version two where you fix the stand to be closer to the body.
The main flaw of this is that since it has the same footprint as a motorcycle, motorist on the road are not going to know that you have to prop those sidewheels down on such an extended manner.
on a traffic stop, i can easily see this toppling over because someone is too close to you when you need to stop.
