these chinese taipei pair playstyle really similar to the twin tower from china li/liu, full on attacking play, really miss this kind of play in MD, CBS Chiu/Wang
I feel the taiwan pair is mismatched. Wang always played as the power player and while his partners Lee Yang or Chen Hung Ling were the control playmakers. That's how they could shine. Now he's made to play as the control player cos Chiu is also a power player, but inferior to Wang in the back court.
Ha I totally agree with you ... Was wondering if it wasn't like a late career choice, like Wang willing to try something new. They kept defending though in the 3rd set don't seem to play much blocks or net shows

satchi do this kinda play nowadays. full on attacking play . tho their defense needs improvement.

Double is all about "controlling" and "net shots". That's what Wang/Chiu pair is missing now. I like Lee Yang so much better...
