This should give you an idea about what it's like where I fly. This was taken with the lost Flywoo. I still plan on trying to find it. I ordered a small cheap gopro to mount on my new flywoo that will point straight down and I will search the area with that mounted to the bottom of the drone. Who knows maybe I'll find it but its really dense brush. Keeps me busy and fun to try anyway. th-cam.com/video/Gc1aT_xpGLI/w-d-xo.html
I’d recommend getting a cheap DJI Mavic with obstacle avoidance, facing the camera straight down, and patrolling the area where you think you lost it. Best of luck, and nice nature views!
@@andrewdahawk I think I can scan the area pretty well with my Flywoo and a downward facing camera. I've already tried that and had no problem avoiding things, plus the cam is cheap. like 30 bucks. Considering the unlikelyhood that I'll find it and the condition I might find it in, thats all I want to invest in the search, but thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
