I use a couple different plumping top coats that go on immediately. I think it melds together with the uncured nail strips, and they all evaporate together. I get beautiful results. Sometimes I use quicker drying top coats but I never have problems. I found the way to prevent shrinkage is I don’t apply top coat all the way to the edge at the free edge and at the cuticle. Everyone won’t get my results, I think because of different body chemistry, nail bed shape, etc. I’m no scientist. I wonder what you and your husband think about my top coat going on right away. Is my theory even close? 😂
