I've always been intrigued. What is it that typically causes a banger racer to start running badly (miss-firing) like at 12:25. Is it ignition issues like loose spark leads, or a crushed exhaust manifold, or a smashed intake or something? They never seem to just die fully, just end up getting less and less powerful.
They are not race engines they are normal car engines just modified slightly to help them last longer but just remember they are racing so the engine is screaming and they aren’t for that
