I don't like comment comparing group members--all groups have different people coming and going for different reasons--God may call them to another area of service or family matters may interfere. Be thankful for what the group is doing now!!!! We miss the people, but give thanks for new ones!!! Be glad and rejoice!!!!
Sorry they Fired Michael for being who God made him. This new group sounds horrible. They cant even sing. Any one who gets let go for hate deserves whats said.

I really like the old AValon better. Haha....the version of this song on the Avalon Live concert DVD was amazing...while this is okay...the old Avalon just had something these guys don't.

It is truly sad for me to see how people in the congregation are now going nuts for this song. I'm not sure what happened to Jody and the other front man (I know what happened to Nikki) but this group is nothing more than a ghost of the original group. Sad.
@RioMo23 The bigger guys actually sound decent, he is no Jody, but the little guy, I have yet to hear him sing anything with nice tone and grounded vocals. Sad indeed....
Agree 100%. Happy that Jody is back. I support the group's decision to remove Michael, since he refused to live a biblical lifestyle (I also support the Gaithers in removing Michel English.)
This group is ok but its got nothing on the most recent. The one with Melissa, jody, Michael, and janna and then later when Greg long replaced Michael. Those 2 or 3 albums they did were amazing. Their harmonization is still impeccable but this Jeremy guy and his wife have nothing on Jody and Melissa. Not even close.

just from a relatively experienced singers perspective, the guy who starts had a suckish vocal entrance and was just kinda weak, although i love the other guys vibratto :) awesome song but the guy on the right wasnt so great

RioMo23 Jody was diagnosed with a heart condition and had to leave the group. I agree with you, Jody and Michael were amazing.

The current members of Avalon will say that Avalon is not about the people, it’s about the message and the ministry.
