- Uyir is a Tamil thriller film written and directed by Samy. Starring Srikanth, Sangeetha and Samvrutha Sunil, the film revolves around a woman who falls in love with her brother-in-law after the demise of her husband. The film's music was composed by Joshua Sridhar.
Sundar lives with his brother's family but is unaware that his sister-in-law Arundathi lusts for him. After his brother's suicide, Sundar is forced to look after Arundathi and her children.
