Hello. I've just spotted you and subscribed. 😁. I loved watching this video. You said you're still very new to adult colouring and so am I. I've been doing it for a few years but only ever with gel pens. At Xmas just gone I got my Prismacolour Premier pencils and a few other very cheap sets of pencils and started trying to learn how to use them. It's been very hard for me because I have never had any lessons about light, dark, shading and blending etc, so I'm very slowly learning from watching other people's videos here. I'm still very new and not good yet, but I'm improving with each picture I complete. I was blown away by your dragonfly and butterfly with the black and gold detailing/ backgrounds. They are simply stunning, beautiful and the effect is amazing. You really are very good. Also your first attempt at colouring the face. That was just beautiful and exceptional - especially for a first attempt. I wish I was anywhere near as good as you are - but I'm not. I will keep trying though. Well done you! I had to write and tell you how brilliant those are - as are all your others - but those 3 blew me away! 👍💗😱

Wow!! After reading your comment I realized everything you had to say is almost exactly what I was going to say!! I too, am newer to coloring & have come to appreciate channels like Mia's that share their talent, creativity & knowledge with the rest of us. It's so nice to know that I am not alone in my newness to adult coloring!!😀Do you have any problems with choosing colors for your pictures??!! I get ideas from others but still cannot do this completely on my own. Would love to hear any ideas or tips you may have on this subject that youd be willing to share. Your pages are so beautiful! I am also just learning how to use my Derwent Inktense pencils... they are kinda tricky huh? I think I need to practice more with them. Do you remember what colors you used to color the birdcage gold? It looks gorgeous! I have the hardest time trying to find the right combination of colored pencils to use!!
I really enjoyed your review of your coloring books and your lovely completed pictures. I noticed you used gold ink on the butterfly. I have Winsor Newton gold ink but I haven't figured out how to use in in the books. Could you tell me what you used to put it in those small spaces? Thank you for posting your videos.

With the birdcage background in Blomster, do u use a blending solvent to smoothen the finish out?
nope, just prismas, blending each shade into another just by using prismas:)
