- Hi guys, i'm very pleased to announce that i have brought a new car. After only owning it for a couple of days i think I'm already in love LOL. Please like, comment and subscribe and I'll see you all in the next video, which there will be plenty of.

Nice another ST150 channel to follow 👍🏻, does anyone else think these will become desirable classics in a few years? There will never be another 2.0 fiesta and the boxy simple styling seems to be ageing well, I’ve got a red one with about 70k miles but always keeping an eye out for a lower mileage one in white seems to be the holy grail.
Yeah I love them man, I'm sure the prices will go up in few years time. That's why I wanted to grab one with low mileage. I will be doing loads of bits to it bit maybe in 5 years or so I was thinking take it back to standard and then keep it for ages. I'm sure the value will raise a lot
It's a hard one in terms of desirability and increasing value. These aren't great on fuel and the tax may not be appealing for some people. The funny thing is the zetec s some are going for the same price as a ST.
Have to admit though they look really nice in frost white but I see far too many of them riced out
Yeah the special edition Zetec S’s especially are desirable too in bright yellow or green ‘celebration’, ‘30th anniversary’ and ‘checkered flag’ I wouldn’t mind any of those... don’t think my missus is as keen on this fiesta collection though 😆

Nice headlights, I think the pre facelift shape lights without the bulge look miles better
3100 for 40k odd miles is really nice, congrats mate. The tacky stuff won't be hard to change

Change the PAS fluid, no need to relocate unless track use.
Therefore get some ducting, I got two massive ducting tube to feed cold air to the cone. K&N is like 45mm I got 80mm maybe bigger.. keep the bay area cooler.. i.e two summers and still cherry red pas fluid.
Get the brakes bled
Check top hose of rad, mine bust you can get silicone aftermarket but fordpart is blessed. Due to age.
I did the flush of coolant.. then a refill due to hose breakage.
U can buy little plastic plugs for the top of the struts
Seat handles fake is good as ford don't waste Xtra money.
If you have service history then that's blessed.. I had next to none so got everything done slowly.
I need a cabin filter, a oil change maybe value clearances checked.
The chain cam is solid AF, secondary belt is fine for me. Has passed the MOT 4 times without any problems.
Never broke down, expect clutch and top hose.
About 320-340 on a full tank, most was 390ish max it.
On doing it, those inlets are expensive & 60mm TB but I like the insta power low rev.
Fun driving, but beware 2/3 under power has wrecked people's ib5 GB's - maybe run some redEx in it to get those HC down.

How was you reaching that many miles 🤔😂 I'm just under 30 mpg at the mo. And with the Redex, what ya mean lower the HC's ?

Think I'm 7/8k into my oil cycle, hasn't burned much either.. but do check it on the reg

The values inlet/exhaust need a good clean unless your going to give it some tanks of shell v power (even still putting redEx in)
As the cat is not the best on them (thus a cat cleaner is blessed ideas) until warmed up a lot. Thus people wrap their cat to get the best out of it. That is unless u got decat or sports cat.
Then your good.. check the last mot readout on the tolerances and what was actual on the readout.
I haven't touched my pads or discs, don't know when they went on..as with windscreen wipers have lasted Bosch are really good.
Lastly tyres, I got the pirelli that first came out with the car in 05, they were expensive, and lasted 12k miles (soft compund and run flats) after a yr got landsails 1/3 of the price, nearly just as good as then but not run flats, but UHP all weather, as running the car on summer tyres in our 9months of rain and coldness is not the best with torque it puts out.. can get a good launch at 2.5k-3k without any wheel spin.

Car looks good! Oh btw theres a knack to checking oil on these.. they give you a different reading everytime 🤣 something to do with the dipstick creating a seal.. i mentioned how to do it on one of my videos but cant remember which lol
Cheers man, loving it already lol. Yeah looked like the oil was over filled and and slightly less, changed a few times lol.
@@Jmncarter found it. pull it out, wipe an put back in.. when putting back in make sure the crossed bumpy marker section is facing away from you. and it should give a one time proper reading.. if you try it again it apparently pulls oil up the pipe giving a miss reading.

You're right, boot solenoid. Takes 2 minutes to change

Cooler is small for that remap mate.You need to put the bigger one.I did remap on my FIesta ST.Had rly bad issues with cooling.I put cooler from 2.0 focus and work a little bit on it.Now all is fine.
box near battery is the fuse box, some parts eg your radiator fan fuse is located there, another one is inside glovebox I think.

Also for the boot check a fuse if it’s fine then it will be a dodgy solenoid
Yeah havnt checked the fuse yet bit I rekon either that or the solenoid
On my zetec s it was the boot solenoid that went. It's common to go but it's an easy and cheap fix. I found one on ebay for £10

Not by too much mate, think everything declared probs raised by maybe 80 ish quid
What power do you get out of them when you put a turbo or supercharger on them pal i had one of them for my first car it want the st it was just 1.2 got me ever where for 3moths then i when and got the st 250 that was ok then got rid of that then when and got the st 225 got rid of that and now am on the golf mk5 r32 lol

Wasnt too bad buddy, had to pay an extra 460 to change car until may 20th next year. I've done a few quotes for the year with that ST and got around 970, so by may next year I'm hoping it will be a bit less than that too. I think there pretty good prices

Was waiting for the reveal. Those Bola wheels really suit the car especially in that colour. The devil eyes look nice also.
Check this page on my build thread. Scroll down and I talked about changing the solenoid in the boot fixed the problem and was only £10 😉
