Soaking works. Get ahead 3 exp lvls. Team wins the 4v5. But then you need to teach your teammates that you win the game by killing buildings. Have to translate the exp lead and the macro lead into a dead core. Ends up ur team doesn't know they can stop fighting now and completely ignore enemy heroes and just go win the game because we have 6 forts and enemy has 0. Lot of times they don't even try to kill any buildings or core they only fight heroes. Most of the time. Have to kill the enemy players 50 times more than necessary to win. Gives them a lot of chances to hang around when the game should be over by force. Checkmate.
If this happens : backdoor. Let them engage 4v5 in a random place of the map, ignore the ennemy team, backdoor and only look minimap.
In my experience, the one point you may have to make clear is that you will not win EVERY game, just more than you lose, so you will get out of bronze and so on, just dont expect it to work every time

kinda wild how this game has been out for so long yet this basic concept still has to be explained over and over again. really telling how low knowledge the player base is compared to other mobas.

this is more complex and faster than those games, it has to explained because players dont stick around, braindeads leave when they get bored of looking at the respawn timer because only fan can carry them, its a lot easier to do that in lol/dota
Imo its not obvious because of shared exp. Soaking just doesn't feel rewarding enough for average player

someone in twitch chat probably already said this but you will get assist if you healed (or shielded or buffed) an ally that deals 1 point of damage to an enemy that dies.

its great and all that6 fan is teaching these pepegas how you reach the next ranked tier but they sometimes forget that they have to keep doing stuff like soaking and camps even after they reach higher ranks.

that is fine in theory, you just forget how the " sololaner " cant draft a laner, push with it thrn get ganked because they dont have a minimap, the enemy team get an accidental combo, or your team start to spend more time typing than playing
the best player can easily climb, most players dont even have half your undersrtanding of the game

specifically thinking about vermintide or deep rock galactic ? hunt showdown ? maybe darktide or something ?
Worse is they help their team when it too late. Making them coming to help worthless.
