Just received one of the new DAC dps w/the new pen. I've always used wax so I was intrigued. Tried it & discovered that I like the putty too. Didn't have to reload near as often as w/wax. This video looked like fun & I will b making some to match my character pens. I noticed that you & Katie use putty in yr multiplacers. On my next dp I will learn to use one & will use putty in it. But I'm addicted to PaddyWaxx & will continue to use it in my single placer. I've got a boatload of it lol. Thx for yr informative video 💎🙂💎
Thank you, Lindsay, for making this video in such a way that makes you feel that anyone can make their own putty! And all of the links to products too -- I can't wait to try it. 👸👑😃💜
So many of us who do this craft do it because it helps with anxiety. There are so many events and so many rules that, for me, it becomes overwhelming. I'm sure I'm not alone. The more simple the rules, the better.
I'm like you, Sparkle. I've never done an event because I don't want a deadline for my painting. If life gets in the way, I don't want to feel pushed to finish it. That takes the fun out of it for me. Also I don't think you can judge when someone does a large painting and someone else does a small painting....apples and oranges.
@TheDesertMermaid5766 I don't mind when they outline a requirement for a specific size (typically 30x40), but yes, requiring a finish can be difficult depending on size and life's interruptions. I hate when you have to check TH-cam, Instagram, Facebook, fill out this form here, comment on that post there, join this group, follow that person there... it's just too much. Especially when you do more than one event at a time.
@@Sparkle.Sanctuary Oh, wow, you just stated more than I ever knew you needed to do for an event and I don't have Instagram and inactive on Facebook. However, I do like the videos showing everyone's finishes.
@TheDesertMermaid5766 not all of them require the same things. There's also often forms to fill out to enter and to show a finish. I've also seen them where the start photo has to be submitted with a key word near the image, and the word isn't posted until the event is live. But any combination of these requirements can be in any event. If you do several events, it definitely adds up.
Oooh that looks so interesting but I don't have a lot of supplies on hand. Maybe I'll add extra glitter to one of my purchased putty items from etsy. I think I already have a lifetime supply of putty
Thank you for this.I was actually just attempt to do they just as a science project lol. How often do change out your putty or know when it’s time to change it out?
Thank you so much for making this video! I’ve been thinking of making my own putty , can’t wait to try this ❤❤

@@Sparkle.Sanctuary Thank you, again. I think I'll just be a lurker for now. Good luck with all of your entries, Sparkle, I mean that sincerely!
