Dark and Darker Warlock Guide and Gameplay - The removal of multiclassing and various warlock nerfs have put me back onto the speed caster build. Today we go over what spells, perks, and skills I would recommend using, what gear to look for and what stats are the most important to make this build effective. Thanks for the feedback! I just try and get to those stat thresholds I mentioned, so every kit can be quite different. I just start building in no particular order and then search for random modifiers based on what I'm lacking in the kit. Typically I try and prioritize casting speed first

What do you think about Curse Mastery?
Doesn’t it give your CoP 30% more dot damage? I haven’t actually tested the math but I’ve been running it and the dot does 2 dmg per tick 10 times, so 20 dmg. I think this means that without it, the dot would lose 2-3 ticks, losing 4 to 6 damage per full curse of pain.
If you were going to run it, which perk would you swap out?

It does more ticks of damage but it reduces the damage per tick so it is the same for the full duration. Damage on the dummy is a bit misleading since it rounds to full numbers but you can do partial hit points of damage. I would never run curse mastery over any other perk.

Its only really good when running double warlock cause that means both warlocks will have seperate ticks on the same target meaning double damage
