I’m going to show this song to my friend, because he’s actually one of the descendants of the Titanic survivors, his great grandmother and grandfather Who lived in Cornwall and decided to move to America were survivors of Titanic, and when his grandfather grew up, he came back to Cornwall, and named his house the Carpathia after the ship that saved him and his mother.
I am convinced Karliene has lived these lives, experiences these events. With how she never fails to capture the raw emotions in her songs. I believe she has lived many lives before and she remembers. No one else can do what she does.
One of my mom's old nursing home patients was supposed to travel on the titanic with his friends, but something kept him from going, so he gave his third class ticket to another friend. He said he was glad about never boarding titanic because his friends died when she went down. I believe it was back in the 90s when my mom took care of him.
As I hear this, I see myself swimming among the once grand halls and galleries. I can see her shattered wreckage spread across the ocean bed. I see the chandelier hanging with rusticles and the broken staircase. Oh, the sorrow of the Titanic. This is a beautiful song and dedication.
This song is outright glorious, I really love how the lyrics link into the emotions, both positive and negative that are born from the ocean, both a cold graveyard and a frozen place of peace.
Your beautifully sung lyrics conjure mystical imagery of that tragic night and the 110 years since that she has laid on the bottom. I love your beautiful tribute to the death of this famous ship and the heroic souls she still watches over in the silence of the dark Atlantic. Titanic's shocking death, a slap in the face of man's ego, will never be forgotten as long as people like you live.❤
@@Karliene you have done a wonderful job in this song about Titanic. I just found this song tonight and will be adding this song to my list of songs done by you. You have a very beautiful voice and have wonderful gift with music. Please keep making music for us to listen too. :)
It has been a full month since I first heard this song and I’m still obsessed. The “Nearer My God To Thee” part rips my heart out of my chest every time.
As someone who lost a relative on the Titanic and has had a vast interest in her since I was 5. This had me in tears, what a beautiful tribute and masterpiece of a song. Absolutely melancholic and beautiful. Thankyou for being so amazing. Xxx
Dear Karliene, this is so beautiful and sad. This song made me cry. Just recently I watched a letsplay video where the gamer did the Titanic experience (probably you've heard of this) as one of the passengers. I never expected a game would make me cry so hard. The coldness of circumstances seem just unbearable, and it's so hard to realise that sometimes all you can do is nothing but watch and feel this pain. But it's also heartwarming to know that somehow we can kind of not beat the circumstances, but at least to show that the love and memory will live forever.
I'm crying! This is a masterpiece, Karliene! An anecdote: One of the souls that were lost that night was my great- great uncle Servando Ovies Rodriguez-Maribona. RIP.
I just love, every time, this feeling of rediscovering historic events through the bewitching sound of your voice and your poetic lyrics. You don't only sound gorgeous, you manage to turn everything into its most gorgeous form through whatever you create, and everything that gets the chance to be subject to your creative process becomes timeless. You're such a siren, and this was breathtaking.
As a person with a blood bond with the Titanic, I find this song able to evoke the ambience that surrounded the travel every moment from the beginning to the end with a peaceful and sad veil. Amazing job❤
I did not give you permission to make me feel like this wtf. This is absolutely heartbreaking, not the crying sort of sad but the deep, wrenching *pain* in my chest that slowly, ever so slowly, fades into a sort of contentment, of grief mixed with the satisfaction of knowing that even if Titanic and many of her passengers could not be saved, they are still remembered and dearly loved.
I'm so obsessed with this song, it has to be one of the most beautiful Titanic tributes I've ever heard! I love how sad and haunting it is - the perfect piece for such a disaster.
Ok, I needed to come back and comment again cause I’ve been listening to this over and over. First, CHILLS! Every time I listen to it. Second, this single five minute song was better than the entire titanic movie in my opinion. How do you manage to create such gorgeous masterpieces every single time?! And this one was truly exceptional! Good lord you are such a talented wonderful soul.
As haunting as a banshees scream but yes as beautiful as a field of poppies. Simply amazing, your tributes to death are some of the finest pieces of music around.
After I listened to this song, I messaged my mom and told her to listen to it as she has been a huge Titanic enthusiast for years. She loves it and has added it to her favourite songs playlist. You capture the essence of this tragic story and the huge loss of life perfectly. I think it’s a beautiful tribute to a ship that still captures the imagination today.
I am in tears. This is truly the most brilliant, heartrending song I've ever heard specifically about Titanic and her lost ones. You paid honor to both beautifully, adding a little flash of warm light to the eternal darkness beneath the North Atlantic where Titanic slowly slips away from us, one day to become only a memory.
Was watching the nostalgic Titanic musical a few days ago and Karliene shows up in my recommendations with such a gorgeous tribute. Good to hear her again after all these years and hope her days have been great and joyous. Thank you.
This hits deep. Such amazing artistry, to be able to convey through music all the powerful imagery and emotions that comes with the story of the Titanic. A masterful piece. Thank you for this!
Your lament gave me chills. Haunting and erie, I felt as though I was there, in the north Atlantic, watching her disappear into the silent deep. Thank you for remembering those who were lost. 💕❤💕
Karliene....you are an amazing singer...this song is the inspiration for my poem Ghosts from the abyss By Doug Bushey Darkness Down in the deep Her spirit lingers Phantom weeping From the tragic night From what was once a great vessel Now lies a rusting grave Hear the cries Of the ghosts from the abyss Cries for help Screams of terror Sorrowful weeping Rang in the ears Of the few who survived But the silence speaks the loudest 1,500 voices Forever silenced But the voices Still speak out The ones who were gone And missed Are the phantoms The ghosts From the abyss

You're songs always give me goosebumps. The emotion in your voice and the lyrics. The most painful part is knowing that the sinking of Titanic and the loss of lives could have been avoided if not for man's greed for money.
What a beautiful song! I have always felt a deep connection to the Titanic, like I was there when she went down. I went to the Titanic/Body World Exhibit when it was out near LA, and when we started the Titanic part, I had the hardest time walking through it and looking at everything-my heart hurt and I wanted to cry so bad but my body wouldn't let me. It was one of the strangest feelings I have ever felt in my life. A huge thanks to you for this song. It's one of your best yet!
Your song is absolutely perfect. Sad and emotional. It captures the feeling of the unfortunate tragedy that actually happened but with a little bit of light in it. And your voice suits perfectly, so melodic and enchanting. This is music for the soul. Thank you
What a phenominal song! I've been listening to it on Spotify on repeat! That transition to Nearer My God, To Thee sends shivers down my spine every time!
Instant chills at Silence. Beautifully done, well illustrated who and what the Titanic represents historically, physically, emotionally, & spiritually. Very well done, indeed!
Amazing as always. I like the lyrics. When I saw the movie Titanic for the first time on TV, it's such a beautiful and sad movie. It's also sad that the ship sunk and a lot of people passed away in real life. May those people rest in peace. I watch the movie once in a while.
Very beautiful song. It connects the Edwardian Era style of music with the instrumental, alongside the true tone of the tragedy. I also like how the song is structured, of her story. In how it starts with how she is today, resting in darkness and silence. But Titanic has life still reminiscing. from seeing survivors belongings inside Titanic, to the equipment frozen from when they were last used. Then the music goes into a more fast pace and louder tone. Indicating the sinking. How she went down slowly and elegantly, but turned to panic in the last portion of the sinking. Which the song reflects. Then when the line "Nearer My God to Thee" connects to the song represented by Titanic from the band. Their last efforts to try and keep the situation calm, and once Titanic sank, silence began to get louder, as the 1496 people floating were lost to the icy water. And where silence loomed over one of the most impactful tragedies to ever dawn the ocean. It is a beautiful song. And many more should hear it!
Such a great song, I've always been fascinated with the titanic, and it's a great way to honor the individuals that lost their lives as well as those that gave theirs to help others
Beautiful absolutely beautiful, the mixture of your voice and the haunting melody of the piano in the background gave me goosebumps, and that doubled, when the piano faded, and just your beautiful voice was heard just as haunting I love this 👍👍👍

Karliene....you are an amazing singer...this song is the inspiration for my poem
Ghosts from the abyss
By Doug Bushey
Darkness
Down in the deep
Her spirit lingers
Phantom weeping
From the tragic night
From what was once a great vessel
Now lies a rusting grave
Hear the cries
Of the ghosts from the abyss
Cries for help
Screams of terror
Sorrowful weeping
Rang in the ears
Of the few who survived
But the silence speaks the loudest
1,500 voices
Forever silenced
But the voices
Still speak out
The ones who were gone
And missed
Are the phantoms
The ghosts
From the abyss
