Being an iPhone user and switching to android is not as easy as you would think. With updates coming to how iPhone and Android communicate, it might just become a little easier...
Over the years iphone users have always found a reason to stay on it, it used to be photos, it became quality, you're now on messaging services, yet outside of all that android offers the best user experiences, and as someone who has used both extensively its not even a worthy argument to make , at some point it should be okay to just say we us iphone because we can't get ourselves to use anything else
I kind of agree with this. Discord is a pretty good app for communicating and it’s also integrated into the next gen console so you could continue your conversations while gaming without switching to something else. I see the appeal
Can someone explain to me why blue bubbles is the reason most users won’t leave Apple. I’m an Apple User myself and don’t understand it. I could understand staying for the ecosystem because all of the features and everything working together is pretty damn cool, but for blue bubbles! Doesn’t make sense to me
@@OxcerrMagnaa it's for a bunch of little reasons that combine to persuade people to stay in the "walled garden". I'll list them here: 1. High quality media sharing. You can send original quality photos and videos. 2. In-line replies. You can follow conversation threads very easily 3. Message reactions, read receipts 4. FaceTime 5. Group chats with all the benefits listed above Seeing a green bubble means that your conversation with the other person won't be as streamlined as it could be. It's like when you have to pay your bills but this one company only takes postage mail. It's an inconvenience to deal with. Also, this sounds really arrogant but it's true: Apple products are seen as a status symbol.
Jay Daniels actually has a video where he shared his thoughts on that. According to him, iMessage has features for messaging that he likes (especially sending full-resolution images), and it keeps all the messaging in one app.
@@qwertyuio847 I talk about it near the end of the video. It'll be a huge help to address things, but we will need to wait until it's the public release of iOS 18 to know 100% how Apple will handle it.
I have, I talk about RCS near the end of the video. I’ve used RCS Android to Android and it’s great. We’ll need to wait until iOS 18 is fully public to see 100% how Apple will handle RCS.
Mostly, yes. Still not as lossless quality like iMessage, but a massive step in the right direction! We’ll have to wait and see when everything is fully public how Apple actually rolls RCS out.

this guy hasnt heard that apple now supports RCS, making the texting experience no different now other than it being green.

Grow a spine and use what you like lol
I agree 100%. I feel like people love to argue about which is better. Just use what's easier for you and move along.
