I simply loved everything about this video. I try to re-read "Possession" every year, and "The Waves" is my favourite amongst Virginia Woolf's novels. I was nodding as you spoke about the intimacy and significance of handwriting. Since my mother's death, I've become even more aware of how present her little notes and drawings still are in my life.

Your videos always make me want to read about EVERYTHING. I really should visit the British Library next time I'm in London, I heard their bookshop is amazing!
    Love your new haircut, too!

Yess! Mission complete. The bookshop is wonderful - small but full of gems.

Very true its odd seeing this notes of someone else in old library books. Especially the notes on what the author is referencing.

Possession sounds exactly like my kind of book! I'd never heard of it, but will definitely pick it up now :)

Very interesting discussion! I also love to visit places that writers frequented for inspiration. I intend to pick up and read Possession especially after hearing your thoughts about it :)

I must read " Possession" again, thank so much for turning my attention to this novel. I read it at the faculty but due to lack of time, and having to read all the time( I also have a major in the English language and literature), I didn't quite enjoy it.

It happens! I want to go back to several books I read at university for the same reason.
