I want to say thank you, your video helped me tremendously. I didn’t have that nice framing tool, but I did manage to get it on perfect. It was like ecstasy watching it execute to its maximum once in a lifetime placement….. ONLY 1 CAT HAIR ONE IN THE VERY EDGE PARTIALLY STICKING OUT! I knew I would have to start over It was so devastating. :( I felt I did a great job the second time (thank god I had a back up), yet ill forever think about what could of been with that perfect placement :(.. Anyways thanks again I’m a new Nintendo switch user and I’ve never put on a screen protector before, but your video helped a lot I also used a credit card instead of the air bubble tool you had and it worked just as well. I appreciate the video! I still have a bubble under my screen however... My tempered glass protector came without a smoother, so between the time I lowered the screen and got a credit card (about 3 minutes), it seems to have got locked in there and I can't remove it...
@@atsunymphae2723 let me know how it goes i used this on my phone screen protector as my s20 has curved edges and it makes it more pliable so you can remove air bubbles and get it to stick after.
Thanks, took the 2nd try, only as the package from Hama had only microfibre cloth and I couldn't get the screen clean enough apparently though it looked fairly good, there was one stubborn dust particle at the top screen on the right and I had to try with the other screen protector. Though this time the previous try had sort of taken the remaining particles from the screen and I used the failed one to remove the rest of the particles, kinda like a tape now, can recommend to those who have similar problem. X'D It worked, the second screen protector sits now beautifully in place! :) Our bathroom's currently one of the dustiest places, so I did this on my tatami instead. ^^
The guy at GameStop was nice enough to install it for me today after I messed it up, even though they don't offer that service. He used to work at a cell phone booth and has a lot of experience with installing screen protectors, even on Switches. It looks great, I would never do this myself again lol
@@Joker2CoLex there have been cases of cheaper screen protectors where the adhesive starts to melt if the switch console gets too hot and won't reapply
@@山村禎子 I validated that the screen protectors will be in fact different for OLED model. same size but OLED ones wont have the "dents" the current ones have on the bottom part.
@@demonofshadows9199 I watched the video from Nintendo Life as well and the layout for the OLED model is slightly different from the original model. You would definitely need a different model of glass screen protectors for the OLED model.
Guys! I've been wondering why do some screen protectors don't protect the auto brightness detector, I've been searching on Google and no answer were found

[Note to self] - Don't press to hard or you get a tiny crack on your screen protector on where your press hard - Glue thingy didn't spread well because I didn't drop it - Also, follow his advise about droping the screen protector.
Maybe invest in a better screen protector. Either you've got godlike finger strength, or that was an extremely weak screen protector. How is it going to protect your screen from a drop, when a hard tap cracks the glass?

Little secret. Go in your bathroom close the door turn the shower on HOT wait for room to become steamy then apply screen protector. Works every time.

nope, it has bigger display but with the same device size (just thiner black borders)
