I would prefer you do simple calculations of feeds in bags and price of abag of layers, then 300 birds should give you like 8trays and the price of try as per now and the durations of peak period maybe if layers 8trys for like 5 months,

Good explanation, but your calculations have not included all the costs such as labour costs, vaccines, medicines, death of some chicks due to sickness (since it's rare to have 100% livability), sales costs and other miscellaneous costs. Based on the cost of layer feeds in Kenya such as FUGO Layer Mash 50 kg that currently retail at Ksh. 3500.00, Chick & Duckling Mash (Ksh. 4155.00) and gowers mash (Ksh. 3500.00), it is impossible to make profits, unless a farmer is able to make own feeds and make own medicines. Raising layer chickens is a loss to the farmer, even after ex-layers' sales.

From your maths, inclusive of your previous video on capital it means after (12+100) weeks you should get an est. Profit of 700k+.,..minus capital of 500k...means in 2yrs n 4 months you will have made roughly 200k??

      200k+60k(sales for x -layers)=260k

Labour, electricity, water etc will consume the balance of 260k÷28months.you remain with zero or minus.(White Elephant)

And thats why every poultry farm has its own pricing,,,you know ur spendings so you should price ur product at a profitable price,,,someone in village won't have the same price as the one in town @@FelixNgugi-qf4tz

This video is not corresponding with the previous cost, because per this calculations you shall make loses after the business.
I am from Ghana 🇬🇭 and
1240 ugx is 5.43 ghc, for 18 weeks you shall get 684.43 ghc 😅 noooo please come again. The cost for raising the birds constitute almost 40,000.00 ghc not even talking about the other cost involve. I'm very scared come again sir.
