Wow, I have been searching for this answer FOREVER! I tutor Germans in conversation English and they always mess this up, like saying "The friend of my mother plays tennis." I would tell them it's "My mother's friend plays tennis" but I couldn't explain why. Thank you!

Nice Way of teaching
Thx. I have a question what a bout an object the belongs tô other, like car and Key, should i say car's Key or Key of the car?
Key of the car is correct because we use (of )for showing possession or ownership of non living things.

Is the word "leather shoes" correct?
Thank you so much for the teaching. It is really helpful.
I've been looking for a video like this for a long time and finally I could find it. But still something confuses me. The thing is, as you said before "The mountain top" and "The top of the Mountain" all of them are correct but while speaking I can't choose which one would be better in the context. I think, when we use 'of version' the meaning has a little emphasise right? That's why you said "generally using 'of' is a bit formal". I hope I could transfer what I meant. Thanks in advance!
(By the way, I'm from Turkey and we have the same situation in turkish let me give an example:
Dağın zirvesi -> The top of the Mountain
Dağ zirvesi -> The mountain top
I hope someone can reply on my message. Because I've been waiting an answer to this question for a long time... Thanks! )
Wow i like it
Hello! Thank you for the video! Is the phrase "the meeting of this morning" also possible (though less natural, oh course)?
Thanks a lot for your video! What about "the name of my school" and "my school's name"? Are they both correct? Thank you once again!

About holidays Alisha? Should we use 's? For example: father's day? Thank you a lot!
Yes that's also true. For example: Mother's day, father's day, teacher's day etc. I think these expressions belong to the part of 'commonly used with time period' It emphasizes a specific day...
Hello Maam!you teach well and I trust your video, but I hope u can "type" your visual aids in a big size where audience can easily seen it,For example while you're teaching it automatically appeared on the screen ,Visual has a higher percentage (other than other senses) to help student learn effectively.I actually did not finished your lesson due to the barrier. But thanks for your effort I appreciate it.♥️
Hello! What’s about the family links like “my mother’s grandpa”? Moreover we use ‘s not only with objects, character traits and appearance but also in other situations like: “My daughter’s name is Jessica”.
I asked chatGPT about using 's with a time period. It answered: "it's not appropriate to use the possessive form "morning's" to refer to a meeting that takes place in the morning. In English, it's more common to simply use the noun "morning" as a modifier in a noun phrase, rather than using the possessive form"
Thanks! But I have a doubt, is it incorrect to say "the group leader" ?
danke
It is very important to have the correct possessive pronoun for the object you are describing, because the pronoun will replace the entire object itself
This is not a personality point, this is a physical appearance point. 3:10
My notebook's lessons is very useful
Of-patten is explained beautifully!
Hey good afternoon. Can I say: Stadium seats are comfortable? or should I say: The seats of the stadium are comfortable. (someone please anwer!!!!1)

Dame as preposition OF followed by the NOUN,
Hello teacher
Hi lasha how are you doing to day
In phrases like "water bottle" or "body part" etc why neither ['s] nor "of" are used? That confuses me a lot 🤯. Thanks in advance
