And answer to the question: I would grab the nearest weapon i have, a big knife preferably, and try to fend off the intruder out of my home. So unlike all horror movie characters, i try to play it smart and not wait in a corner for the killer to find me or scream loudly to give away my location.
i would do the same accept, i would try to conceal my location a bit more and if they check the room im in i'll ambush them and uh, either A: do the illegal Or B: Suffocate him until he passed out? i dunno

I have windows in my house that can open and what I would do is just dive out my bedroom window, yes risk my legs, and go to one of the houses in my neighborhood. My neighborhood is the type where you can go to anyone's house for help or stuff like that.
