Things I love about this: The yandere saved the listener, not just kidnapped him. The constant reassurances that he was safe. Establishing that he was free to go, and the subsequent willingness to stay that that engendered. The soft, soothing tones. The sweet obsessiveness/protectiveness. This was a highly enjoyable video, Daliah, thank you kindly for it. I'm definitely going to have to relisten, probably a lot.

Will admit, I tend to not like Yandere stuff, due to personal reasons. I get WHY it's popular, I really do. But typical yandere stuff tends to really drive me away. This one, though...yeah. I like it. You walked a fine tightrope to make this work, but you've succeeded in making a Yandere vid that even a jaded Yandere hater like me can enjoy. Spoilers below. So, I picked up the subtle hint of her *saving* MC instead of just nabbing them off the street or something. That was enough to get me interested enough to keep listening. The fact she didn't straight up say she *killed or harmed* the other girl that talked to MC in the bar was another big hint - usually, Yandere stories emphasize the crazy part being violent and dangerously unpredictable via such anecdotes, so her being vague on the details stood out, suggesting she might've just had a (scary) talk with her rival. So while I was still wary, I was hopeful for something different. And my hope was rewarded for once! The reward of finding out that she *isn't* keeping MC here against their will and wasn't using restraints or anything else was a VERY welcome surprise for me, and let me finally relax into the vid fully. MC's instant acceptance and reciprocation was a near mirror of my own at that point. Thank you for this. I know this can be boring and bland to people who like the more intense power dynamic of the trad-Yandere stuff, but I welcome the less intense "slightly obsessed but actually *loving*" form of Yandere on offer here. 💜

This may or may not be the crushing loneliness speaking but what's not to like about her? Sure, the initial shock of suddenly waking up with someone you don't know next to you is one thing but as far as I am concerned she makes very clear what she wants and how much she loves the listener and at the end of the day what more could you ever want?. So hell yeah, sign me up, let's go. Also I don't know how you do it or how your audio is set up but when you whisper it actually feels like it reaches my brain and I like that very much.
