Second case: I am not even sure what point the younger sister was trying to prove. Also, swearing on what your parents did or didn't do is so foolish. You weren't there. It is just weird that she was trying to prevent her sister from knowing her own truth.

The info that the sister was such a young child when their mother passed made the whole "slandering our mother's name" argument make a bit more sense. To me, it seems like she was trying to preserve the memory of her mother she's had since she was 8. That's a whole lot of denial to have for her to not be able to see the clear resemblance between that man and his daughter. I spent the whole episode trying to NOT see the resemblance, to be perfectly honest.

I think because mom is no longer here, sister can't take the anger she has out on her and so she's misplacing it on her sister. Which is crazy because you can't fault the woman for wanting to know the truth she DESERVES! HER OWN truth. Sister never said anything bad about mom and what happened. She even said she understands and doesn't fault mom for her mistakes because she has her own at that age. Never spoke ill of her, never "defamed" her, none of that. I think she just has anger at the situation and the anger would be at mom IF mom was still alive to take it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I agree. The controlling sister hates to admit that her mother was promiscuous and conceived a baby in her own marriage. Her sister looked just like her father. She is just going to have to deal with the fact that her mom was not perfect.

i don't understand why she's so angry at her sister for thinking or wanting to prove that the man is her actual father. its not her "defaming" your mother , she never spoke ill of her or insulted her for it being a possibility. parents have secrets that we as their children don't know. she deserves to know where she comes from and she's not saying your mother was wrong or disgusting or anything for her sleeping with another man. why is she so angry at her? i think because the mom is dead, sister is the only one she can take that anger out on.

@@Joel-js2gk but she's angry AT HER *SISTER!* saying she's defaming their mother. she's also angry at the father which for that reason you said, would be valid for her to be mad at , but she's going off on her sister saying she's wrong and doing this out of spite and insulting their mom. She's not. Her wanting to know the truth is not defaming the mother. She never said anything man or insulting about the fact this happened, that mom slept with another man. She still loves her mother and even said she completely understands and has empathy for her mother sleeping with O2 men. Her anger needs to be at the mom for keeping it a secret and not at her sister for wanting the truth she deserves. But I guess since mom isn't here, she's throwing the anger at the wrong person instead of just supporting her.

Second case: the oldest sister is the living picture of the man next to her. I haven't watched to the end and I know what the DNA result will be. The younger sister, the one defending her mother's reputation, sees a ressemblance with the "official" father when there isn't any whatsoever. None. Zip. Nada.

This woman's sister was so mad at her saying he was her father because she was 8 years old when her mother died, and like any other 8 year old she idolized her mother. After losing her, she wrapped every good story about her around her heart and clung to the picture she made of her in her thoughts. Hearing she might be human, and when she was young she might have made a mistake threatened her perfect picture of her that's why she fought so hard and was angry.

Men... men men, men have this ability to be "fixers" and put themselves in a role and be a father even if the child is not their own. He was okay being in that position, did not care what his family thought. Love that and women need to understand this beautiful ability that men have to be fixers... it is truly a blessing.

In case 1. the devoted young mother's been keeping her baby from his father & family. Meanwhile, the father's mom publicly states she's "promiscuous," which isn't nice to say & wrongfully suggests the child is not her son's baby. But we can see the son knows the child is his, but he respects his mom & is going along with his overpowering mother. She should respect HIS CHOICE of mate, & know he loves qualities in his baby's mother that he loves about his own mother. He wants to be able to love his baby & his baby's mother too, without his own mom's unhelpful disapproval. She should let go the reins & enjoy being a grandmother. Both parties have 2 silly habits in one: 1: They Give In To Their Impulses 2: to Talk over Each Other. Everyone's saying something but no one is heard. They really should attend group counseling together, work on Listening, & practice each taking a turn to speak. "We have 2 ears but only 1 mouth, so that we can listen more & speak less." The young gentleman on the stand - he is confident he's not the real father, clearly states why & his paternity test underlines that he's 100% correct. They drag him in there, & he added a touch of humor to the situation & the judge scolded him, but he's honest, & with his calm & confident easygoing manner, he'll be such a great father someday. *final note: each family member needs to firmly make up their mind to only speak goodness of each other. It is a good discipline to speak only well of others, & builds each other up.

The younger sister was projecting when she shouldn’t, like why would something your parent did for your sister LONG time ago gets you this defensive when it wasn’t about you nor knowing the truth wouldn’t affect your older sister in any negative way, conversely it would help her a lot…. Third case: First of all, the daughter looks like the man. And the mailman story sounds nutty. There was the milkman too, maybe we can get the plumber, the electrician, the cable guy, someone at the carwash, the cashier at the drugstore. I just think the man can't get over his former wife's infidelity.
Second, my father had brown eyes, my mother had hazel eyes. They had five children: oldest two with blue eyes, third with hazel eyes, youngest two with brown eyes. So a father with brown eyes can have children with blue eyes.

few decades earlier it was the milkman ( as I'm writing this the milkman was mentioned lol)
I used to resent the mailman scenario but it was just a saying...

Yup and being a person with Hazel eyes I learned that hazel eyes come from someone with blue eyes and someone with brown eyes. My son who has brown eyes and is Hispanic had three children with two different 100% Hispanic ladies with brown eyes whose family generations back have brown eyes and all three children have blue eyes. The only other person that has blue eyes is my father.

@@RindaJane I am a Search Angel and I have recently helped a lady find her grandmother's biological father. The silly roomers of "she was the mailman's baby" flew around in this situation. It turns out she was the mailman's baby. It happened before either party was married. The mother married another man after the baby was born and he adopted her. It was kept a secret who the real father was but the child knew the adopted father was not her real father.

1st case the mean sister is asking silly questions. When a couple breaks up,then and now and move on to another they do not keep in touch or phone each other. Theres usually bad blood or their new partners would not like it and it would cause friction in their new relationships. And if a pregnant woman denies someone being the dad, especially in days before dna he cant possibly think he is the dad especially when she has a new man. This sister blaming him is ridiculous. Her mom is 100% at fault. Also if one sister is homeless & turned to drugs, why would a sister or family allow that and not help her? Why did family allow her to become homeless? Its obvious shes a terrible sister and the bio dads family are a real family to her.
