I've played this mod way more than I should, but it is based on an alternate reality after the events of Clear Sky where you somehow still play as Scar (also called Reborn). Apparently he, and all the notable members of Clear Sky somehow survived the emission at CNPP, the mod only truly kicks off once you return to Clear Sky base by just simply walking there, since you have been given the power to walk through fences, grates, and other similar barriers. What also makes this a very Russian mod is how easy it is to softlock yourself, or put yourself in an unwinnable state. And you won't know this until you acquire PDAs saying you needed to keep someone alive during a certain event, when they've long been a corpse, requiring you to reload or restart, and even then it won't be easy to protect them. And also the altered travel points.
It's weird...this mod does so many things for CS that most mods don't do, like adding in Zaton for one, new mutants like the spiders and shit. But then the rest is like... I don't even know. It's as if the creator was very VERY capable of making an amazing mod. He just chose not to for shits and giggles.
@@cookiegrandpafiddlediddle2248 still making mods, they released two more in this series one came out a year ago and recently got an english translation, its pretty good. they're currently remastering the one in this video afaik
new Reborns called Doppelganger 7,62 or 7,63 or 7,64 (srsly) have less weird shit inside but story is so twisted it hurt your brain to grasp it and not get lost. Plus paying attention to all things and details so you don't miss something that would block your story from progres..

I found Hybrid 2.1 that was made by moderator from translator forum for Stalker mods, which give hope that won't be another case of "modders gonna modders" like that one from the video. And indeed it's good, pity the creator lost the data due HDD bork, so no updates :/

Oh I absolutely love the difficulty where anything can kill you with 1-2 hits, yet you have to unload few hundred ounds into enemies.
