Neil has a gift for attaching himself to your soul......his melodies are not complicated but they are beautiful and addictive.....the chord changes are simple but they are just a launching pad for the beauty to folliw.........I get the same feeling now as I did in 1969 when I first heard him......he can take you instantly to that place.....im sure you know what I mean......
Saw him on this tour in Irvine, CA. Sublime. I have seen Neil many times. This was my first experience with a solo acoustic tour. He held the audience in the palm of his hand for two hours. That in and of itself was amazing to me. I remember “No More” being my favorite. It is now 2022. 33 years later. Ugh.
I attended the U.K. leg of thıs tour wıth my partner Ulrıke at Hammersmıth Odeon. He was accompanıed by Poncho. I was fortunate to talk to Neıl, Poncho and Ellıot Roberts after the show. I wıll never,ever forget that evenıng.
