I think it would be cool and balanced to see low-ranking brutes charging like they do in Halo 3 but have the higher ranking brutes charge like they did in Halo 2 which would make more sense.

Suggestion: When making the H3 odst mod, you should make the player a little smaller to really put things in perspective as a non spartan! That would be pretty neat!

I like the new update of the weapons and armor and boss characters
I’m new to MCC pc and mods, I had like a 4 hour marathon with this, my favorite halo is Halo 3 And playing the Mythic overhaul it’s a nice and very fresh experience, I really mean it . Man, I really appreciate this mod, it’s the best mod experience i have ever tried , thank you a lot for your big efforts making this mod.

YESSSSSS! Can’t wait to try this. Also for ODST, would you consider changing some of the mechanics to make it feel even more like you’re an ODST? Removing stuff like punching Wraiths to destroy them, being able to rip off turrets, lowering melee damage to the back, etc. It’s fine if not I’ve just wondered what a more grounded ODST would feel like. I will say I think ODSTs should be able to use equipment. Excited either way tho!

Will there be a version of the mod without healthbars? I wasn’t a fan of H5 and infinite’s boss names and healthbars. Felt sort of inorganic to halo
Not in the plans as it'd kind of be a pain to have to update two versions of the mod but I think the simple health bars aren't really that intrusive.
@@MythicJaqui Its more that their existence is sorta weird and not really Halo-like
@LateNightHalo I kind of liked it since it always felt challenging and fun to see the enemies health dwindle with everything you got like playing games such as borderlands but I can see where you're coming at.

I disagree on the part of Infinite, I thought it was implemented very well and a natural progression of what Bungie had tried (and sort of failed) to do with the boss fights in Halo 2.
Plus, the idea of fighting these named mini-bosses is honestly just so cool to me. It really brings those conflicts a lot of depth with just that small UI change of naming the unique enemies.

Could you consider making Halo 2 anniversary mythic Overhaul please ? I love Halo 2 :)
The NMPD could actually be cool and have more variety to them! like SWAT teams, cop cars, police variants of weapons, the cyclops made by megaconstrux years ago, corrupt officers that you could fight trying to cover up information, there’s a ton of stuff to do and I feel like odst is such a big missed opportunities for stuff like that
I feel like the names and health bars feel really out of place. Don't suppose you'd consider perhaps an option to disable that...
Also I really hope for ODST you add a lot more SOCOM variants like you did for each Reach... Maybe a SOCOM AR, BR, and SRS99. Hell maybe even a suppressed M90. That would be hilarious and very cool.
Hell actually what would be even cooler is adding actual stealth mechanics if you can. I loved that in Reach Mythic, it let me play Nightfall like I always wished I could.

I just got through playing your version for H4 a few weeks ago and I have to say: you're a damned genius. Everything meshes so well, apart from a few crashes that is. But to allow me a chance to fall in love with these games again is something I can't help but praise.
Whatever you do next - know I'm in for the long haul. I intend to play the other versions you have too when I get time, starting with your Reach overhaul.

WoW, the one from 3ODST really catches my attention. Although as a question, are you going to limit what the game lets you do a little more? I mean in the sense that, for example, you can't use two-handed weapons, or use an energy sword, but you can use a gravitational hammer or tearing off turrets xd

Reach and H4 will definitely get updates but the focus will be ODST and custom stuff

does this mod contain any sort of hidden easter eggs we should look out for?
Some feedback on the grenade launcher. When you charge it up it it explodes upon impact but when you fire the grenade bounces and explodes a little too high in the air. I think the bounce needs to be reduced in the level of height it can go and its too much like the brute shot in that regard, it would be better if the grenade would fire out bounce a little on the ground like a flea jumping about a couple of times (maybe the old bubble shield bounce and roll animation would work too) and then slowly roll forward to the enemies and then explode but that's just me. It also doesn't feel as effective when I used it on the Tsavo Highway. level, because of the height the grenades can explode at. It seems to do little damage to shielded enemies unless you charge it up. I would like to suggest perhaps that the grenade roll towards Maybe increase the detonation time of the grenade to balance it out as it rolls to the enemies.

Will you fix the coop connection error bug your Halo Reach mod has? Me and my friends want to play more of it.
Possible to add more enemies in big wide battles like during the scarab fights or the level The Covenant? The latter would work great since it’s meant to be the Covenants last stand and them throwing everything they have against the Elites and UNSC. The two scarab battle always felt underwhelming with how few enemies there are for a final stand. Especially with how easy scarabs are to kill. If that’s too much, maybe more background fights in the air happening to add to the atmosphere or stronger scarabs?
I know you don't really care much about Canon lore but it still feels strange fighting elites knowing that truth kick them out and replace them with the brutes but this mod still looks f****** fantastic it's awesome that CE has SPV and this game has mythic when I get my computer hooked up again I can't wait to play this mod.
I feel like the elites in this mod are loyalists that are super devoted to the great journey. Kind of like how we have hunter allies in halo 2 but we still fight them in halo 3
@@matthewcrane9788 yeah but truth but still not allow it I don't think he ever loved the elites he may have hated them because of the war they had before they decided to have an alliance that kick-started the covenant not to mention just because we had Hunter enemies doesn't mean we didn't have Hunter allies probably just didn't see them sadly should have had just give them different colors and such and I'll tell on who's on whose side all the more reason I just think Halo 3 is so lackluster especially in terms of storytelling compared to how the first two were whoever the writers were the third game sucked.
Will you be updating Chief to have this armor in the Halo 4 Mythic Overhaul? Feels odd going from 3 to 4.
lol imagine how jarring it was for us old school fans when halo 4 first came out and chiefs armor was COMPLETELY different. 343 tried explaining it away with "Nano machines".

The only thing I don't love about this mod is the halo infinite style Visor Tech lines at the top and bottom of the screen. The actual HUD and shield bar are fine.. I know its personal preference and it sounds nitpicky but a HUGE part of what appeals to me in halo is the fact that every game has different styles....When you give reach and halo 3 the Infinite style Visor TechLines it gets repetitive...Also its lore breaking because the infinite Techlines are supposed to represent the MJOLNIR GEN3 platform. The HUD/HMD bios are canon. It sounds nerdy and nitpicky but its something I feel strongly about and its making it hard to enjoy this awesome mod because I am constantly distracted by the mismatched Techlines.....Please don't do this for the ODST mythic overhaul!!! The ODST bios is amazing and if you replace it with a halo infinite overlay its going to truly ruin the experience for people like me.
Wait, I was under the assumption that it was basically impossible to have a functioning odst mod that didn't require you to exit out after each mission because of how the rookie missions worked. Am I wrong on that? If so then thats very exciting.

Quick questions for both your mods, as well as mods in general:
- if you or someone you know, have skills with 3d models, would you be interested in making a custom armor based on a design i saw online (nothing too weird);
- do you know why everytime i play a mod that is supposed to support anniversary graphics, i can only play on the old ones ?

It was pretty jarring going from halo 2 to 3 playing rhe mcc colloction. Like why did the graphics and weapon models get so bad? Bolt action looking BR? Felt likw cheif wss sent to a diff reality with subtle changes everywhere that kinda sucked. Cant even remember what it was like originally
MCC's Halo 2 is remaster, like CE it has classic and anniversary modes, Halo 3 was actually an improvement on the original classic graphics but it got shafted by not having updated graphics like Halo 2 Anniversary
