UTFO brought this Roxanne in ( calling her the Real Roxanne) and they helped her write this to compliment their song. Roxanne Shante was more authentic! And i think Shante’s was better than this even back then when i heard it on the radio.

She had a fallen out with UTFO and she was fired and replaced also UTFO didn’t credit her for this.
