The effect of the lyrics of this song (well, pretty much every song in Chinese imho) is really hard to reproduce in English. I've yet to see a translation that does the original justice. But I think keeping in mind the translation of just one part of this song, the one that strikes me as the song's soul, would suffice because rest of the lyrics underpins the following. 「怕你飛遠去 怕你離我而去 更怕你永遠停留在這裡」 “More than my fear of you leaving is my fear of you becoming stranded here.” Later in the song, this transforms into: 「看你飛遠去 看你離我而去 原來你生來就屬於天際」 "I can see that you have been born to soar in the heavens above, even as I watch you fly away, leaving me behind." The effect of the lyrics of this song (well, pretty much every song in Chinese imho) is really hard to reproduce in English. I've yet to see a translation that does the original justice.
But I think keeping in mind the translation of just one part of this song, the one that strikes me as the song's soul, would suffice because rest of the lyrics underpins the following.
「怕你飛遠去 怕你離我而去

Later in the song, this transforms into:
