    It would be great if you also show a sample of what you gathered in a Requirements Document. How did you write them up in that document?

    So basically we can say this will be done in waterfall ?
    Right ?

    • @ThePrefectBA
      @ThePrefectBA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for comment, waterfall or agile is a software development methodology. Requirment gathering is the same in both models.
      In waterfall you gather requirements for the whole project let's say 10 features. In agile you focus on the next 2 features which are planned for upcoming sprints.
      Hope this clarifies

    Please suggest
    Should a trivial system behaviour be captured in requirements document?
    eg. A login screen. Business user only would comment on the need for login screen. But validation of data entered is not a business requirement.
    How do I tell my development team to handle incorrect data? They may easily come back telling this was not part of the requirements document. If we continue to capture every such scenario, documentation would never end.

    • @ThePrefectBA
      @ThePrefectBA  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My view is , If it is a requirement then it is good to get it documented so that there is no ambugity later on.

    • @ThePrefectBA
