    I used a Exedy clutch in my WRX. No problems. Held the power like a boss.

    Nice, I got one in a deal for my integra. Have not installed it yet, looks awesome.
    They are QUITE spendy but you pay for the best. The rotating mass is *tiny*!

    Do they make a solid puk clutch, if they do, did you consider using it?

    • @TURBOTRISTO
      @TURBOTRISTO  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Exedy make a clutch for every application, I steer away from puck clutches on the street cars and especially on a AWD or RWD car they are a pig to drive on and cause a lot of backlash in the diff bushes and tailshaft, if this was a 600-1000hp track only car then sure I would go for something aggressive like that, but not for this car I am only chasing about 300-350hp max

    Hi Tristian! Couple questions about your ef build from a few years ago. Since the car was originally dual carb, what did you do with the wiring? Have you used the obd0 to obd1 conversion kit or did you get yours custom made?

    • @TURBOTRISTO
      @TURBOTRISTO  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I sent the car and both looms to an auto elec and he sorted it out

      I did one ages ago and had a stock mpfi crx harness I used for the engine side. I recall having to repin one or 2 sensor plugs, and maybe the dizzy plug but otherwise worked easy. There are some cheap chinese "tuck" harnesses on ebay that seem a good deal if you TEST THE CONNECTIONS FIRST. An hour with a multimeter and a wiring diagram is the tax for buying cheap. Better an afternoon spent beeping wires than to send 12v to an ecu sensor pin, toasting it.

      They do for many applications. I would endorse anything they make.
