I added SUMO springs to the front only on my F53 chassis, man what a difference in the handling ! I’m no longer stressed out after a long bumpy ride or windy passes ! Love them n totally worth there weight in gold !
Wayne....just wanted to tell you how pleased we are with the Sumo Springs on our 2005 Southwind. We took a trip to Kentucky and we were amazed at the difference they made. Thanks again....!! 😁
Nice job Wayne.. We love ours, we have about 6000 miles since you did ours in February and they are great. . Sadly they are no longer pretty blue and yellow anymore.. great job I'm sure they'll be as impressed as we where..
Appreciate your detailed installation. It will be very helpful on our 2005 Southwind 32V. I plan to put front springs on. It looks like there may be room to install and drill the 3/8" hole for upper half without removing the tire. If so, is there any benefit to removing the tire?
I had to make the same j-bracket modifications and shorten passenger side bolt. I was able to drill 3/8” holes without taking off tires. I really appreciate your video. It took the guess work out of the process.
I realize this video is older but I’m wondering why there are several types of mounting plates. I just bought a set and they are the same as the ones you installed in this video and sit towards the front of the axle. The other type sits directly over the axle. Any idea what or why they are different? I attempted to install the type shown here directly over the axle and it almost works.
Wayne this has nothing to do with this video but this Louisiana Boy is sitting in Pigeon Forge Tennessee camping next to the little Pigeon river and I had to go into the 5th wheel and get my Rv Prepper Wayne hoodie. I’m glad I bought it. LOL. You got any stickers for sale cause I sure would put one on the back of the RV.
I am a huge fan of Sumo. I have had them on my 04 Georgie Boy for a couple years now. I am glad you brought up the ride height increase. My coach has a mid door, the two inch increase was noticeable at some parks we frequent. It was nothing that using an extra step did not fix. It is well worth it for the ride difference and removing the sway. Anyone that has Air Bags owes it to themselves to take a ride in a coach that has Sumo Springs installed. In your last video you resealed a roof, could you let me know exactly what patches and cleaner and roof coating you used? See ya down the road. Daniel R. Fort Worth Texas
Wayne, great job as always. I’ve got a question for you on these Sumo Springs. I have a Class C that I had the Roadmaster front and rear anti sway bars installed and will do the steering stabilizer next. Would the Sumo Springs be just over kill having them installed as well? My RV is on the Ford E450 Super Cab chassis.
Thanks again Wayne. I will investigate places here in central Illinois. Can you give me a ballpark amount that it should cost to have them installed. I’m not sure how honest the places are in my area.
Hi you do good work I was wondering if you could let me know if I could ever bring my RV pleasure way to be repaired by you if I have any trouble with it I generally bring it to Chevrolet RV dealer across the street from where I live but I know they rip me off but I don’t have any place that I know that I can trust. You seem to be a trustworthy guy something more people order take up. I’ve watched you for a while now and I can see you know your stuff. I liked all the work you did on Eric‘s rig. I live here in Brooksville Florida, i’d be more than willing to drive up to the Panhandle to have work done on my RV if I needed it.
looks like they make a lot of difference in handling on the RV do you think something like these will work on a pickup truck i use to haul a 2 horse trailer with dressing room bumper hitch system
I have a 2001 great west class b in a dodge ram 3500 chassis. I might be interested having you do the sumo spring upgrade. I'm leaving Washington state as fast as I can in 33 days for Phenix city, alabama. I'll need 6 to 8 weeks to get settled. Is this a vehicle you'd be interested in changing the springs on. Oh I forgot we have air bags on back. Thanks
William Jordan just call SUMO springs or order online or call there 1800 number ! That’s what I did , you just need the weight of your rug both front n back (GVWR ) and punch in your order ! It’s cake buddy , I also didn’t need to remove any tires.
Aren’t the back yellow ones on backwards? The Ubolt on the sumo spring should be facing forward ? Nope nother mind I see the little leg that goes under the axle ubolts 😊

Sumo woult NOT be an overkill. You will wish you did them first after you feel how well they work.

How do Install a sky light in my travel trailer shower
Every RV is diffrent. What make and model do you have.
Do you have a source for these and if so, how do we know how to order for our specific RV, or are they generic for all class As... thanks
