Have you explored USL2? It seems to be an even better recruiting league compared to USL. Our local Flint Bucks send multiple people to the MLS draft every year. The Mac Herman award winner from OSU was a Flint Buck in USL2

I’m in the same exact situation bro. The mental resilience required is actually insane. The rosters in the USA are really being filled already. It’s so tough and I swear it doesn’t get easier. I thought things would get easier, but every year it’s the same thing. Keep going man! You still will succeed

I hope things get better for you man. If you don't mind me asking, how did you become a professional? Did you play through college or come up through an academy? I am in high school myself, and I am way behind all my peers since I started playing later. I'm training every day, and I've seen improvements, but sometimes I still doubt myself, especially when I see players my age in pro academies or playing for pro clubs like Bournemouth, etc. Do you have any advice on what is the most effective way to train, or what aspect of your game is the most important? Thanks.
Edit: btw i love become elite, thats awesome u got to meet him irl

@ my journey was a bit strange. I played club and Latin league most of my youth career until I was a 2015 Sueno MLS finalist. That got me into LA Galaxy academy where I trained for a few weeks! Then from there I played D1 soccer at Valparaiso university for 2 years, but I dropped out to play academy in Brazil. All the U20 guys ended up going to the first team, including me. From there I went to Europe, played 3rd and 2nd division in countries like Latvia and Croatia. From there, I moved back to Brazil, where I played 2nd division state level soccer, which is fully pro. Now I’m in off-season but it doesn’t get any easier to break into the US market

Everyone’s level will be different, if you can work on every aspect of your game while having 1 or 2 “X factors” that will get you where you need to go. Train consistently, do as much on the ball as you possibly can, and don’t let your fitness decline. Play a ton on the streets and in pickup games, and this can help you reach the levels you want to achieve

@@hamidbabaali10 Wow that's incredible. So you've been all around the world to play it seems. For you, which experience was the most enjoyable, and which was the least? Which part of your journey was the hardest? And if you don't mind me asking, is there a reason you want to play in the US, like family, etc.? I'll check out your videos tomorrow, as it's nighttime in my time zone atm.

@ Croatia and Latvia were the most fun and rewarding experiences, Brazil was the worst for sure. Especially this time (2022-2024). In Croatia the football culture is amazing and they treated me super well, id love to go back there to play again

Hey mate, I love your videos and they are very inspiring to someone like myself, especially since I've only been playing football for about 2 years now. I think that your story and attitude could help a lot of people like me push themselves even harder and improve their lives and abilities. If you are willing, I'd be happy to make some thumbnails for your channel! I'm an aspiring graphic design artist alongside football, and I do not want or need any payment or anything like that in return. I am certified in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. If you are interested, feel free to reply and let me know! Again, I appreciate your videos and love what your doing. You've inspired me to get off my bum and train many times, and I hope that things get better for you. Never give up, you've got what it takes!

Thanks for your opinion but I don’t think you’re involved in the industry at a high level, that’s just not how it works - take Matt Sheldon in like 2017-18 time for example - had to go play semi pro in NZ for a year but now has over 200 USL caps. Is he not good enough?
