    Great video. X
    The end reminds me of me and my husband. I have to ration the amount of biscuits and cookies we bring home and we have to eat our own halves, no touching the others half!! Haha it is serious stuff lol x

    Trick to reduce the slim in bhindi... stir fry the bhindi in a little oil and salt before adding to rest of ingredients! This super reduces the slimy texture xx

    Where was your "father in law" in this video :) ?!?!

  • @Philosophyoftruth_
    @Philosophyoftruth_ 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Hey, don’t worry I’m not a hater. Why on earth would you as a daughter in law cook for your father in law, but your husband has never offered to cook for your father? That’s not fair. It should be equal. It’s not your fault. It’s part of the Indian culture. That’s where internalised misogyny lies. Why is it expected that we girls have to move out to live with our husbands and cook for them? No.
    Another thing I’ve noticed is that punjabi culture is pretty patriarchal too. Woman are seen as maids, chefs and PA’s. Why? Our role in society isn’t only just to ‘obey’ men and ‘keep up with culture’.

    • @samyshas7500
      @samyshas7500 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She lives with them in their house - he doesn’t live with her mum and I am sure he would pick his weight if he did... the punjabi culture is beautiful, absolutely no harm looking after your elders

    I strongly believe the reason you’re overweight like 85 % of bhabi jis is due this high consumption of vegetarian food and carbs. I think the reality speaks for itself.
