    The light hidden in the coin box is super clean. Looking forward to your thoughts on how it handles in the different modes!

      Thank you! I was confused about it so did a lot of research and talked to iwire to double check on the status light because I wanted to be sure and clear up the confusion!

      @@StreetInspired1 I pinged i-wire as well for the ground kit, great work big dawg!

    I like the light in the coin box. Bet it handles in the rain like my STI now. Very nice upgrade. Iwire makes top notch stuff.

    Awsome video man I really like where you hid the light because yes it is super freaking bright and I couldn’t agree more with you that the DCCD makes all the difference with the STI trans swap on these WRXS honestly I think it works a little better with the iWIRE controller than the factory one that comes on the STI just my opinion anyway glad you finally got it all hooked up and everything is working awsome! I’m about to get retuned I just added a couple new parts to the car hopefully this will be the last time I have to get tuned anyway man always awsome video and great content Take Care Cody and GOD BLESS!

    I know I am super late to this video, but I am glad I found it! I am about to do this hopefully over the weekend on my 22(yup, STI trans in it!) and this seems like it should be a similar process so I know what I am getting into.

      Hell yeah, I love to hear it! I wish you the best with the swap!

      @Street Inspired does this pull power from the ecu wire? Ive got everything set up but nothing turning on 😅
      EDIT: Nevermind, that damn plug you have to pin yourself unpinned when I zip tied it lol.

    Might do this to my VB unless is cheaper to built the stock trans and add a rear LSD vs STI swap.

    My sensor had the hole tabs around it so I bolted it to one e-brake fastener location. Crap I didn't know you could squeeze the box in there like this. Oh well I have a new head unit I am installing anyway.

    Those brake lines are actually fuel lines... lol. Nonetheless good vid!

    • @StreetInspired1

      Yeah, they definitely are fuel lines. I just had a total brain fart while laying under the dash in 95+° heat, working on cars is a blast lol

    What year sti did you get the driveline from?

    • @StreetInspired1
      @StreetInspired1 ปีที่แล้ว

      2020 STI but any sti transmission from 08-21 should work the same!

    Florida is a wrong state to work on cars. It's not even about the heat as most people think. The humidity is unbearable.. rather live in Vegas or equivalent.

      Honestly it hasn't bugged me much since moving here in September last year. I know we're getting to the hot season but coming from PA I used to always complain that it was way to cold to work on my car. 4 months of the year it's too cold to go outside and work on the car because your hands go numb haha
