I think any run up is fair. How on earth is anyone going to enforce that? How can you differentiate between a stuttered run up and a slightly slowed down run up before you kick the ball?
The same way anyone differentiates between a tackle with malice and without… think it would just be better if they just say u can slow down once for a penalty and that’s it u have to keep that pace or go quicker.
@pazthepole2814 but then they can slow down really slow before they take the penalty like 5 seconds before they kick then what? They slowed down too much? It's too hard to enforce. I think as long as goal keepers don't come off their line then any penalty is fair as the opposition kicker can do the same tactic. I seen penalties where players fake to kick the ball and the keeper still saved it
Keeper should have to stay on the line until the ref blows the whistle. 👍🏽
