I have the handheld 730 CFM Ryobi whisper blower now and it drains those 40v batteries pretty fast! The backpack blower is interesting because if nothing else it would give me more runtime and put the weight on my back instead of having to carry it. I might have to keep an eye out for a sale on this.
What AH are your current batteries? This 6AH batteries seem to do quite well even using the turbo mode with lasting longer than i would have expected. I like the concept of the backpack blower as well, mainly because of it distributing the weight on my back and not on my arm/shoulder. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a good product but blowing baseballs is tough. Ball shaped objects are the most aerodynamic so consequently harder to move than leaves or grass clippings.
It's an ok blower, but I just put it to the test with leaves a few weeks ago, check out how it performed here: th-cam.com/video/2gPNDYisPAI/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!
Honestly, I would like to see it blowing lawn clippings and leaves. I don’t typically buy a $500 backpack blower to blow the kids balls around. I would also like to see it compared to another blower, preferably a gas one.
If I ran an entire line of Ryobi products I would consider it, but I do not. Now that I have experienced Kress, I would honestly consider the Kress blower for two reasons - it is more powerful at 850cfm and it is cheaper. I find that the battery power on the Kress also lasts longer as well. Thanks for watching!
The batteries include a warranty of 3 years and typically batteries are rated by charging cycles, but I'm not positive how many cycles this specific battery is rated for. That said, if you use it more often, it likely wouldn't last as long as using it periodically. Thanks for watching!

Great ideas, I will see what I can do. Thanks for watching
Great unbiased review, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You should test this thing against that 850cfm kress blower you have
This is on my list! Great minds think alike lol
Would you buy this after using the Kress blower you have? How much does the Kress blower retail for compared to this?

This looks like a nice blower, it looks like it fits comfortably on your back. Thanks for sharing 👏
Yes, it had been very comfortable to carry on my back and had worked well. Thanks for watching!
Great comparison and the low sound is nice!
Thanks for watching!
The extra 40v batteries i bought for my blower last longer than the battery that came with it. Maybe why they cost more
Interesting, that is odd. Thanks for sharing and watching!
Great video. Whats your grass type?
Thanks! I have tall fescue
@@TheLawnLover thanks
Wow love how much quieter this blower is
It was super quiet, I was surprised too. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a nice blower, I am not a fan of the backpack blowers though, too much to lug around.
Totally understand that! Thanks for watching!
How many years do you think the batteries would work?

I can't believe that they sell this for the same price as the two batteries and you get the blower for practically nothing. Crazy!
Yes, I agree. Might as well get the blower even if you only wanted the batteries lol
The ego blower is better
@delrayharris6583 I haven't ever used the EGO, but honestly I would put the Kress 850cfm blower up against anything. It's my favorite.
