When this song was out, I had been going through the toughest break-up I had ever been in. A few days after this video was uploaded, I gave birth to my daughter. She has been healing my aching heart and giving me the will to move on from her dad's betrayal. Now I am so grateful for the pain and sorrows I felt back then. this song hits hard, I just recently got divorced from the woman who I never thought would leave my side after 10 years together. the hardest part of it was watching her drift the entire past year. a guy walks in our lives back in January and no matter what I did i couldnt match up to what he did. all I can say is I tried, I talked, counseling, took trips together to get away. none of it helped, she was checked out. but this song has helped me bring closure to the situation. cheers to you Dean Lewis thank you!

I understand what you're going through. I'm just starting into a divorce from the woman I never thought in a million years I would lose. I left on military orders a month ago and found out a day into me being gone she slept with another man. I flew back, tried to get her to do counseling, talk it out, work it out but she checked out emotionally. It's the toughest thing to want someone so bad and to have your every attempt to work things out ignored. I have to say the pain is still intense but I do find a certain calm when listening to this song. Keep your head up brother, one day all will be well again.
@@nicj3031 Same here guys. Its been exactly 2 years since I divorced my high school sweet heart. Been together 12 years but married 10 and never thought I could be betrayed. Left me and my daughter but this song has helped me heal. I'm know she regrets it knowing how good she had it and all I can say is im happy to be alive and have my kid by my side.
