Looks very nice. A few minor changes from the original design, such as filled-in red shadow under the 'C' which wasn't present on the original machines.
Awesome job once again! Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I've never seen/heard of making relief cuts. Genius! I'm almost ready to install artwork on my Pac-Man-Man. Did you use Kilz 2 primer? Did you experience any adhesion issues with the vinyl? Though I'm still on the fence, stencil vs. vinyl, your videos have been a HUGE resource. Thanks so much! Pertaining to the artwork error, I'm not a Pac-Man-Man guru but I'd place my vote on the lack of slits in the eyes of both Pac-Man-Man and the ghost.
I've cut all of my side art applications flush to the edge of the cabinet instead of wrapping the t-molding channel. I've seen both ways. Do you prefer this way? I may try it on my next game.
You are correct! The issue deals with the left side. The alignment does not line up properly which makes the art pushed to almost the edge of the cabinet . Nice job!
The only downside to this vinyl artwork is the black lines under the letter "N" are not like the stenciled cabinets. It seems the printer of this artwork has used the artwork that has been floating around the net for some time. It isn't completely correct.
It is much less painful! I got this art from a member of one of the Facebook groups that does arcade printing. I can share some sources of you need some
Can u tell me a little bit more of what kind of vinyl u used like thickness polymeer or monomeer? Do u have experience with new mdf (smooth) is it essential to prepare mdf or is it possible to put it directly on it? Curious about youre answer and tips
My apologies I don't remember how thick the vinyl was but it was pretty high quality / thicker. As far as mdf I'd probably do two coats of primer and sand with 220 before adding vinyl
I like that that side art has the blue paint specks in the yellow.
The blue specs do look nicer but I don't think there is a way to print them on vinyl

Yes I used kilz 2 primer. Vinyl adhered without issue. Good guess on the art error, but that's not it!

I've done it both ways also. I prefer to wrap it because when you don't, I've had the primer show through where the edge of the art meets the tmolding
Nice Kong Klub hat! :)
Was wondering if anyone would catch that!!!
@@GalaxyGames843 I had mine on and was like, oh nice hat.
@@GalaxyGames843 Yes nice shout out to the Klub. I caught that but not the printing error yet!
@@CusiArcade it's so funny because once you see the error, you can't un-see it. I'm surprised no one has caught it yet!
Good Video. My guess is both pieces of side art are the left side.
Agreed.

Quite possibly, but that is not the error I am referring to!
The ghost on the front is missing the black details on the back side of his head that's on the stencil version.
Looks awesome - can you tell me what kind of primer you used?
I honestly just went to walmart and bought whatever was cheapest... I think it was just standard kilz primer
The words Pac-Man on the side do NOT have the black that outlines the letters! We got our Pac-Man in March of 81 so it was kind of obvious :)
Where did you buy the vinyl? Looks much less painful than the stencil process.

The kickplate is different, I guess the designer didn't have a good kickplate to base it off of which makes sense but it still looks off
Thanks for sharing!!
No problem 😊

🤨👍👍nice work
Thanks ✌️
Nice job!
Thanks!
What was the issue? Great tutorial :)
Thanks! It was basically two of the same side. Which made one of the sides off centered
@@GalaxyGames843 Thanks for the reply. Subscribed.
Printing mistake on the side art, is it the dark shade of blue used on the ghost and lettering?
The blue in the art is a little darker, but that's not the error!
@@GalaxyGames843 Darn. I do like it better with the darker shade.
the black line below pacmans crotch is supposed to be blue?
Good guess but that's not the error!
The diagonal lines under pacman on the bottom right side are the wrong length.
If that is true, it's not the error I am referring to!
Sweet!
Thanks!
The only thing I've noticed in comparing it to my cab is there is a line missing in the C of PAC.
I didn't notice that. That is not the error I am referring to though! I need to have a milestone to reveal it if no one guesses it!
two left sides
Pac man also missing it pellets
I didn't even pick up on that!
Whats the best way to take the sticker off?
Heat gun and a razor blade
@@GalaxyGames843 thank you!
Pac-Man used staples in t molding
Yes at the ends - and it seems like some sort of glue throughout!
2 Pacman Arcades
Yes!!! I 've worked on quite a few pacmans and ms pacmans if you look through my videos!
The kick panel art is not the original art. It’s reproduction art and looks more like the side art.
two of the same side?!
The alignment was off on one side
The Copy-write is missing.
It is but that was not the issue!
Noooo it was original and Rare willis art ,it made pac way more valuable,🤯Still looks Awsome but wish u scanned it first👾
I disagree on the value portion. Plus is was unsalvageable. And the water damage on the cab required some major cabinet surgery
Artwork is not centered probably on on side
You got it!!!
tha music is annoying.
Thanks for the feedback!
