Thanks for watching and for the comment. It’s one of the best lake hikes in the whole Dolomites, don’t miss it. It all depends on the change of season, usually, you can see autumn colors in early October. I hike at the end of October and that year autumn was late, there was still a lot of green. Last year autumn was early and nothing was green in the mid-October. So it’s different every year. It took me 2:30 hours to reach the lake, I was slow and stopped a lot on the way. I spent 30 mins at the viewpoint too. Overall move time was around 2 hours. I hope it helps, enjoy your trip.
Yes, the parking is on the side of the road. It's free and gets full quickly in high season. I did this hike in October and the parking was empty when I went there around 9:00 AM.
