That Pteranodon who survived was me!! You were hunting us there for quite a while I kept on checking the trees before I latch. I have watched all of your Isle content but it's a different feeling when I get to be in your videos. Love it!
2:19 the reason why bucking didn't work is because the devs recently added a grace period of 2s until you can start bucking the pouncer off. You can briefly see the bucking animation start around the time you start running for the edge.
6:34 and the reason biting to open the body doesn't work is because they changed that too. stand over the body and repeatedly tap E to open it. 👍
how to tell someone dosnt read patch notes or hasent played in a long time ^

@@proppersnake I don't blame those that don't. Many times the patch notes aren't clear or helpful, and you shouldn't need things explained to you in the patch notes to know how the new thing works. The body biting thing is a great example since it worked like that for so long and then all of a sudden it changed but there is no prompt or explanation in game about it that you can even do that, it just says "E to eat". Hoping the upcoming UI rework will bring some accessibility 🤞

make sure u get a pretty strong cpu to match ur gpu when i played i noticed that cpu matters alot in this game (not 100% sure if its true but it feels like it)

I’m the Pteranodon hunter, I post up by the beach on the cliffs just west of the Hillside pond. I got another one just last night, I’ve been trying to catch one in mid air as the come in to land on the rocky plateau, but haven’t done it yet, but I won’t stop trying! But it’s so satisfying lol but I also don’t feel too bad because Pteranodons are pretty quick and easy to grow, so I know I didn’t just end hours of growing, unless they’ve been alive a long time but.. you never live too long on The Isle.
the slow grows are the only long time games. but ya as you say the isles brutal and life is short.
The herra is one of my favorite dinos to watch you play. Such a cool playstyle.
13:25 one of my favorite things in the isle has always been the abandoned human structures. It's so cool going in and seeing just how large you are, despite feeling small because the only other thing you have to compare yourself to is dinosaurs. I also just imagine if a person came across a dinosaur in there and there is a sort of Jurassic Park 3 sort of situation, even a small dinosaur like a herrera or a rugops would be terrifying!

Those gallis genuinely don't know that a single adult galli kick can lay a herra out flat they'd have had you dead to rights a few of those times when you ran up to them, but panic is a helluva thing, nice plays dude.
50 seconds in and this already amazing storytelling... I mean come on, "go on, sing to your gods. I'll send you to meet them" and "where life would do a lot more than just find a way" are amazing lines from a story perspective

@@solaris9077 tbh you need a fucking moutian of BULLSHIT to take on a single dibble. espically in current patches. as i saw a dibble pack and got ended in about 2 seconds of sighting that huge ass dibble heard. shure i was a dilo, but point is adult dibble ALONE is a mixpack war target. a pack of dibble is no ones biz but their deaths. normally.

2:30 - Omnis recently got a buff where they get 2 seconds of uninterrupted pouncing. So rather than immediately getting bucked off, they have a chance to get a little bleed in before having to jump! After the 2 seconds though, you can buck them.
