Joist App: Roofing Estimates made Super Easy and Free

When I left Atlanta I had two guys both named Matt that was working for me, and they split up, and both started their Roofing businesses when I left to go to Texas. One Matt showed me the software, and I was so excited to see it because the company that I was working for didn't teach us about things like how to do Roofing estimates they just wanted us to go through the insurance company. The problem with that is so many homeowners want Quotes no matter how hard you try to explain to them that it's not about the quote it's about the scope of work that the insurance company is willing to pay no matter what most of them won't listen.
So the joist app has been part of my life ever since, and to me, it's the simplest way to be able to do Roofing estimates. Especially when you're running a whole lot of leads, this is what everyone says to me, I want an estimate or give me a quote. It is the most aggravating part of my job, but the joist app helps. Sometimes you can tell that the customer is just shopping price looking for the bottom of the line price. What I do is build out the roofing estimate and email it to them and if they call you back go out there and sign them up. It's so easy.

Thank you for the help! I wish the forms were more customizable. For example; having a section for project information when you have multiple projects going on for a client, or pricing items by ft. Thanks for the video!

Yep, thats one thing they need to add. I dont like how when writing descriptions by the time you preview it moves the layout of what's written. Maybe I can email them and ask for the option. Maybe its in the elite version. Outside of that everything else is great!
