    We just camped last night in a wee clearing just off the path at 10:46, basically opposite the Craigmead Car Park. Perfect little spot, and enclosed by banks and trees so no-one knows you're there. 😀⛺

      Sounds like you found a cracking little spot mate. Sounds like you enjoyed it. I do miss the Lomonds, back down in England now. Thanks for commenting. Atb Shaun

    Quality little spot there, the idea of making egg and chorizo up in a pot is ace, looked lush. Really jealous of your cave spot... brilliant find. Cheers for uploading. Lee.

    Cracking video mate, stunning area, nicely filmed, love the area near the little waterfalls, nice little cave shelter too, liked the scrambled eggs, it worked well, all the best 👍

      Cheers mate. Yeah lovely part of the world that is often overlooked. It's just the other side of the Forth bridges from Edinburgh. Lots of people pass there on their way up to the Highlands but few stop and take a look. They're missing out. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

      Cheers mate. Not a bad spot at all, I think I'll be revisiting that spot sometime in the future. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

    Fife sounded interesting Shaun. And it proved to be. I did something similar recently - it's nice to get into these interiors. The camp sight had a nice remote feel to it although it was more than likely a short walk back onto the trail. Great to see the Dipper visit - a healthy stream, which you took advantage of. Good going - really enjoyable.Mark

    • @BASHADweller
      @BASHADweller  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're bang on Mark the trail was more or less above my head where I slept, just set back a few feet or so from the cliff edge. Not many people venture other that way, not that I see anyway. Seldom walk past anyone on that side of the park. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

    • @WyeExplorer
      @WyeExplorer 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only reason I say that is because of camps and places I've been to myself Shaun. Still worth while though. As you say and i know people tend not to venture there. A pleasure to watch. It sure was a good bivvy.

    Nice way to start with a pint but got to say, I am pleased the food you made tasted better than it looked lol! Shame the rain started for you on the summit of East Lomond but looks like the weather is on the turn now. Cheers Alan

    • @BASHADweller
      @BASHADweller  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I won't disagree with you there Alan, you can't start right until you've had a pint! :) Yeah I must admit, the scoff did look like I was pouring some vomit into a pan but it was alright once cooked and tasted as it should. Winter is coming! :) Can't wait, I prefer the cooler weather and love camping in the snow. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

      Cheer Eddie. Yeah lovely place for camping, scarred a little because of the tree felling but still nice. I camped at Tentsmuir not long ago, really enjoyed it and I was treated to the sight of some lovely seals bobbing in the water also. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

    Was up that way with a mate for a walk, he's a fan of your vids too (hiya Steve) and we were eyeing up some great wee sites with the 'shelves'. As you say, they've been used before but not much rubbish left. It looks a great place to go for a camp and that's the plan. Always look forward to your vids mate. Cheers.

    • @BASHADweller
      @BASHADweller  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah mate, great little spot and I'm glad to see that rubbish hasn't been left behind even though it's obviously a popular spot. I hope you have a pleasant camping trip there yourself whenever that will be, I'm sure you will. Always great to hear from you and I appreciate your kind words. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

      Can't remember if I've suggested it before (I tell lots of folk) but have a wee shuftee at Devilla forest, loads of good places. Appreciate guys like you doing the 'show and tell', I'm just not a camera guy.

    • @BASHADweller
      @BASHADweller  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been to Devilla a few times but never camped there. I seen to gravitate more towards Blairadam. I might revisit it and do a camp there some day.

      If you fancy a change its fine mate but if you're happy with Kelty 'wid' then that's cool. Walked the dugs there but never camped there. We're more spoilt for choice than most realise in sunny Fife.

    Great video, that's one of my favourite camp spots up the lomond hills, still haven't worked out where people get the wood for that fire spot tho surly they don't carry it in lol and i was proper annoyed when i went up and seen that woodland had been felled. it's good to see the lack of litter.

    • @BASHADweller
      @BASHADweller  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers mate. Yeah cracking spot and the lack of litter is very pleasing and I hope it stay's that way. I think they do hump the wood in you know, I did find a few small kindling sticks that looked like they came from those kindling bags you can buy from outside the front of garages. The felling of all those trees has left a right scar on the landscape which will be there for years to come unfortunately. It's a right shame as it looked so pretty before. Thanks for watching. Atb Shaun

    • @BASHADweller

      I know that's why I love that place so much, you wouldn't think you're in Fife. It was an MSR Alpine stowaway pot. They come in a variety of sizes, I believe the one I have is the smallest they do. Thanks for watching Vinnie. Atb Shaun
