Nalanda University was burnt by Brahmins and not by Bakhtiar khilji. Bakhtiar khilji came to India in 13th century while Nalanda University declined by 11th century ad during Sen dynasty who were pro Brahmin ism.

When I visited Buddha Gaya almost a decade ago. Had also visited the Nalanda University. I couldn’t fathom enough, how this university could have burn down, and the discovery after the entire Buddh Gaya got covered with mud, so that the Mughals not capture it was Mind boggling.

"‘The Antiquarian remains in Bihar’ by D.R.Palit published by Kashi Prasad Jayaswal Research Institute, Patna says, “The place said to have been destroyed by the invader is described to be a great city and a place of study then known as Bihar which would more appropriately be a reference to the modern Bihar Sharif which also had a monastery and not to Nalanda near which there existed no big city worth the name”. (Page 302). “There is no clear evidence that the Mohammedans under Bakhtiyar Khilji destroyed it.” (P.324). “One inscription of about 1003 AD found at the temple site 12 actually refers to such destruction by fire. … It does not however say how the fire was caused”. (P. 325) “There is, therefore, reason to believe that Nalanda had met its final end sometime in the 11th century that is more than 100 years before Bakhtiyar Khilji invaded Bihar in 1197.” (P.325).

3:36 it's not 1417 AD it is 417 AD. Nalanda was not a Buddhist University as it was funded by guptas who were vishnu bhakta and pala who were kaal bhairav bhakta it can be said that Buddhist took the advantage of generosity of those empires . Magadha empire has some other universities like taxshila as well.
Most things which are found in that University are Buddhist also Gupta were never vaishnav show a single temple made by Guptas also palas were not Chinese travelers who visited India that time have written about that University in detailed it's a Buddhist in Hinduism giving education outside dwija people was not even allowed

It was Buddhist. Gupta were only building Buddhist temple. You can claim without any evidence.. Tibetan Buddhism was flourishing during guptas period. Buddha was found in Nalanda not a single Hindu deity…

Very good vdo. I have read a lot about Nalanda as it is a proof of the glorious history of Bharat. I visited the place thrice. Every time I felt very sad over the big loss of knowledge bank, deaths of so many teachers and students, immense loss of the buildings and artifacts. In spite of so much damages to our rich culture we still maintain a railway station called Bakhtiarpur. Why? The station name needs to be changed immediately to either Gautam Buddha or Ashoka. There is a beautiful museum, but there is no regular show of documentary film explaining the history and different spots of the site. Is the Government negligence or ASI negligence as the place exhibits the glory of Buddhism?? Brahmins have done enough damages to the Buddhist philosophy and glorious Bharat history during dominance of Buddhism.

*बख़्तियार खिलजी की हजार - दो हज़ार सेना को गुप्त वंश या पाल वंश के राजाओं की सेना हाथ पर हाथ रखे क्यों बैठी रही,
असली इतिहास को आख़िर कब तक छुपाया जायेगा जबकि सभी को मालूम है कि सभी बाहरी आक्रमणकारियों को बकायदा निमंत्रण भेजकर किन लोगों ने बुलाया था और उनके दरबार में कौन से लोग संतरी,सेनापति, सलाहकार और मंत्री बनकर अपने ही देशवासियों को लुट रहे थे और आज उन्ही के वंशज सबसे बड़े राष्ट्रवादी और देशभक्त होने का दावा करते हैं!

Still Buddhism is followed in this country. Ganesh Laxmi Durga Saraswati and Narayan Ram and Krishna are all Buddhist Bodhisattva. Hence Buddhism is being followed in the name of Hinduism. If Brahmanism was followed then Indra Varun Surya Agni and natural forces were worshiped but except Sun worship no other Vedic God is worshipped Today. Hence Brahmanism is finished and people are only following Buddhism called Mahayana Buddhism which is followed in India which is still followed in Japan and South Korea and in China. No one was able to finish Buddhism from India . India is still a Buddhist country however muslim are trying to finish Buddhism which everyone calls Hinduism.
