  • Where would Jordan Love go in a draft starting a franchise today? Maybe higher than you think. Plus why the Packers could be close to having elite LB play and be careful buying too fully into the Jeff Hafley hype; we've seen this movie before.

By the end of the 2023-24 NFL season, Jordan Love had firmly established himself among the league’s elite quarterbacks, ranking in the top 10 for passing yards (4,159), passing touchdowns (32), Quarterback rating (62.1), and completions (372). His omission from the Pro Bowl roster was viewed by many as a significant oversight. Jordan Love’s breakthrough season has not only cemented his position as the Packers franchise quarterback but has also revitalized the team’s aspirations for championship glory. The experience and promise he has shown draw parallels to the early days of Aaron Rodgers illustrious career, signaling the dawn of a new era in Green Bay. As the 2024-25 NFL season approaches, Jordan Love, together with our head coach Matt Lafluer, aims to build on the team’s impressive playoff run. Having demonstrated their capabilities against formidable teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and Los Angeles Rams, the Green Bay Packers are poised to be serious contenders in the coming years, with Jordan Love at the helmet of their ambitions. He has never lost to a team twice at this point. He is also extremely unique in the way he is able to handle pressure with the drift back back footed throws and even his coaches have had to adjust to let him go with it. @@eliottgonzalez8844 If you've ever coordinated and broke down offenses and qbs you always crave the 2nd time around. Well not always..lol. But in Love's case he has been the 1 to break defenses down and dominate the 2nd time around. I've watched Love through good and bad situations since he was a freshman in college. He figures things out. He's got at least 6 big weapons with complementary skill sets at receiver who just got their feet wet and he has a special skill that in that he has that almost unicorn ability to buy time by falling backwards and still able to deliver with velocity and accuracy. Love is a nightmare to defend right now because of the variety of his weapons, his savviness, and his ability to beat you even when you have great initial coverage and get a good pass rush. In college, I always felt like the teams that could rattle Jordan were teams that could get to him fast with 4 guys and play cover 2 and cover 3 man over the top, jamming his receivers to confuse his first read, and also mix in variations of disguised zones to put LBs and safeties in throwing lanes he didn't anticipate. He usually scorched blitzes. That doesn't work any more and he's a nightmare to scheme against. I have thought about exactly what you are saying about how I would try and approach Jordan as a D coordinator to slow him down. The best example I could think of was the last Vikings game who threw the kitchen sink at him with a myriad of stunts, blitzes, and disguised coverages and he ate them for lunch. The 49ers did the best job with their loaded d-line and more aggressive base defense and he gave them a couple of gifts on unforced errors including his last knucklehead throw, and the 49ers had a considerable amount of luck in situations out of Jordan's control to win that game. Sophomore slump can be a real thing as coordinators scheme but its often based on subtle roster changes, injuries, exc. and is not as common as we think. The salary cap in the NFL will always impact up and down success in cases like Mahomes who has had to deal with varying levels of skill players around him. Crazy thing is Green Bay's offense won't have that issue for at least 3 years. Gonna be interesting.

We do not need two seasons to know about Hafley. We WILL know right away whether or not Hafley is a difference-maker. Look at the difference in the Browns defense last year because of Schwartz. Flores both in Miami and in Minnesota. DeMeco Ryans in Texas. Heck, the Bears made a change in the middle of the season last year and it made all the difference and all of a sudden they gave the Lions all kinds of hell. A very good DC makes a difference right away.

I think that drafting and developing a QB is the more advantageous way to go; like how the packers did it with Love. Instead of showing defenses your strengths and weaknesses as a QB, you hide all that information for years. Then when you're ready to go, you have the upper edge versus the film against you since you will be ahead of that curve. This in theory, should allow a QB to develop light years ahead of a QB who is the starter day 1 in the league.

Love looks completely capable of carrying a team at this point. He was nothing short of spectacular over the 2nd half of the season. I've liked Herbert right from Day 1, but I don't see him doing all of the things I saw Love doing last year.

Jordan Love was a playoff winner. What was Hebert? He went 5-12, then 10-7, then 9-8, then 7-9.

It did get me kind of mad that and Jones left because of money then went to the Vikings because of getting more looks like he traded the Packers for the Vikings. I guess the money is greener over there than by the Packers, but I believe in the Packers that we can do it without, Aaron JOINING After we got he hundred percent Vikings now he reflects on Green Bay liked her poor not cool. What do you think of us? 🟢🟡🟢 as a team I know we can move on from him.

😅😅 no I don’t know who is Savage’s first name is but do we still have him? He’s a good player too. I thought the Bears were supposed to be packed up and gone. They were getting a better stadium at least that was in the top of them.🟢🟡🟢🟡
