Sam Huard, a 5-star recruit and nephew of Brock Huard, was one of the biggest names going into the 2021 College Football season for the Washington Huskies. Then, he seemingly fell off the map, transferring to an FCS Cal Poly team. Many people thought he'd never see the spotlight again, but recently, after entering the transfer portal, he committed to the Utah Utes with head coach Kyle Whittingham for the 2024 season. Huard is back to high-level FBS football. Although he won't start, he has a chance to compete and develop, with a shot at taking over the offense in 2025, and his dream of playing pro football stays alive.
