That's why the parents in the modern world become crazy because they don't know why they don't feel like their child is their child. It's just reminded me with manhwa "S class that I raised" when the parents loved the MC but not the little brother because he born as a "monster" with S class instead as human being like the MC. The MC is lucky to have a nurturer skill from birth without he knowing or else their relationship would like the dragon sibling.
I remember reading a book like that as well, it was sad because I can't imagine not loving my little sister or my older sister but not knowing why, it's ought to make you crazy

I'm just saying this to you so you will understand the rule of the world from how the world building do. I'm a Fate franchise reader(still newbie but mostly understand) and this kind of world building is common in most of novel these days.
This is probably the best version of this that I've seen. It covers all the bases of the story so well and nothing important was left out! I love this so much!
