Started playing this game a few months ago after seeing a Sc2 pro player try it out (Harstem). Now I am over 1600 mmr and won an intermediate tourney last week, all thanks to your videos. Thanks for all the help.
I'll be honest, I've been trying to place your accent from the first video. To my ears, it sounds something between Swedish and Russian, so I'm not surprised to see it's Finnish. I have never heard a Finnish speaker before, so it's a real treat. Thanks for your videos, they're great.
At ~27 minutes you look at the board and decide that you need a war factory. Can you break down that moment for us more? I assume it's because opponent has quite a few medium-sized units. How does WF compare to MPs with split beam?
Tarantulas seem like they are just a slightly better sledgehammer. They clear chaff well and they tank damage well for an early game unit. They can be hard to deal with in early rounds if your opponent doesn't let you roll steel balls right into them, but I don't think they are something you generally build your army around.
Repair on tarantulas is so good imo, i think range is a mistake early, but then again the tarantulas chaff clear is really good, adding range might make it better, but maybe it allows them to lock onto something they cant kill anyways. Idk
Another thing that works great vs Tarantulas are hackers. Especially if your opponent masses Tarantulas with spider mines then Hackers with range + multiple control solve your problem on the spot.
Considering the starting bonus (Fortified, Quick Supply etc.) and the two starting units, what would be the card with the best possible start (say, unbeatable), you guys think?
Thanks for uploading the games. For both games...did the tarantulas force you to go straight into WFs? What are the best mid-tier counters to tarantulas? I feel like scorpions do pretty well into them most of the time. Seems like a lot of folks are just insta-picking tarantula starts because a lot of people haven't figured out how to modify their mid-game builds to win against them.
I’m not RAT level but I’m decently up there (1.4K) and in my experience pheonixes and balls act as the best mid game counters. Storms also work reasonably well.
Any giant besides Vulcan decimates them once you get them online. Worms get stuck on them for a while though so I’d advise forts since barrier holds off the tarantulas for a while.
Tarantulas and the other units they chose from the unit drops. The tarantulas have quite a high tempo if you don't have an answer for them so you can't wait around. Scorpion is ok yeah but i don't like the paths it provides for late game. Usually you just get whatever from the first unit drop to counter the Tarantulas: balls, sabertooth, phoenix, fort, melter, scorpion, etc. The best non-commital counter you can buy yourself is I think storms on round 2 or marksmen round 1. They might also insta pick them just to test them
I find the mass tarantula with mines hard to deal with, the mines tank so many shots from my army when there are dozens of them and i'm not sure what to do about them, ive tried mustangs but maybe i didnt buy enough of them
transition into war factory was smart. cant keep betting on winning a losing battle by both of you spamming tank lines. also intensive training could have been good to level war factory and or flank rino

Video opens
"Well this is complete garbage"
Definitely a RAT video

Wouldn’t have guessed you were Finnish. Greetings from Germany.
Greetings !

War factory still king😆
I was about to take off maintenance because I was going them too early sometimes but after seeing this, I’ll keep it on

yea! I've had a lot of success with hackers this patch
@@SurreyEZ Fortified hacker is now one of the best cards, actually :P
New video from my favourite vituber!

Rhino spec crawler sledge probably
10:22 observe the right-most Tarantula, dafuq is it doing? 😆
some aiming problems. Good catch
Lol at people suggesting 120/hr for coaching, that's 8x the cost of the game.

Cool video
Comp seems a bit the same Stang WF balls, repeat, Stang WF balls, repeat, St-...
Is that because its the meta now?
Damn, they nerfed melters to the oblivion.

8 gun wraiths seem to deal with them well but probably not the best counter.

I really think Marksman commander shouldn't be a thing.
have you been facing it too many times with your Tarantulas?
Only 2 views? Bro you need to work the algorithm better.
no offence but to beable to watch your videos i have to put them on playback speed 1.75 and even that seems so slow
